Does anyone know any good Chinese food take-out and/or delivery around here? I'm at Sheraton... And I have this HUGE craving for Chinese food. Like REALLY HUGE. Like a pregnant mother-to-be craves something sweet and sour (or whatever)!

    I dunno if it's "good" or not, as I'm not well versed in Chinese food, but there's one I go to at Westlake Center's top-level food court, in the corner near SBarro's Pizza.

    You really want to head down to the international district which starts along S. Jackson St a short distance east of Pioneer Square. There's a number of good places there but some I can recommend from personal experience are Hing Loon and Shanghai Garden. Hing Loon is short on atmosphere and decor, but very good food.

    If you are still looking for chinese food in Seattle, the BEST place is Hing Loon Restaurant in the International District (south downtown) about 1 mile from the Sheraton.

    They're open until 2:00 AM!

    Funny, I didn't even notice Druhim's post, two of us think Hing Loon is great.

    I got Subway for tonight, but I will still be craving Chinese food tomorrow night, so I'll venture to those recommended places.
    I just love Chinese food. Soo Much.

    Yuh, I think I'll go to that...Hing Loon (maybe more than once this weekend) and fatten up before I go back north. I can be just like a bear - attempt to stock up before I go into..."hibernation." My city has terrible casual food.

    also you'll notice that at hing loon, there's the menu and then there's a shitload of specials taped on the walls all around the restaurant

    definitely look over the specials and see if anything stirs your fancy because that's like half the menu taped on the walls

    I second the Purple Dot Cafe. I'm a fellow Asian too, and this is the place we go to after a long night of partying/clubbing. Heck, I might end up there tonight after PAX.

    It's open late, has ton of authentic food, and is overall very yummy. My favorite is the duck noodle soup. It's also filled with other Asian peeps, so you know it's good. ;-)
