I regret wasting most of my Friday in lines and waiting around doing nothing while waiting for the Smash tourney. Seriously, delayed 1 hour then walked out after sitting around the room for an extra hour and a half. What a waste of time.

I agree, I shoulda signed up for Nvidia early on saturday instead of sunday.

Also I should have tried to see if my last round opponent for the Magic iPod Nano tournament wanted to hang out for the convention, she was pretty friendly. We both won iPods anyway! :)

Not being able to take Monday off and having to fly back yesterday and missing all of Sunday's events was my biggest regret.

Not spending enough time at the con. I met a lot of cool people, explored Seattle, had nice dinners, but I didn't stay up until 3am playing consoles or lounge all day on the Sumo sacks. It didn't feel like I was missing out on anything at the time because everything was so much fun, but in retrospect I could go explore downtown Seattle any damn time I want, but PAX won't always be there :(

    - I forgot to take a camera on Friday.
    - I missed Saturday entirely. [WTF is wrong with me?!]
    - I decided not to get in line to talk to Wil Wheaton when I walked by on Sunday, figuring the lines would thin out later. They didn't. I didn't get to meet him. D'oht.

I stayed to watch Uwe Boll.

I agree somewhat... It was hilarious to hear people come up to the mic just to tell him to go fuck himself.... but the ranting of a self-aggrandizing blowhard gets tired very quickly. I got up and left after the "Postal" clip. When he tried to defend himself by defining "satire", I was very tempted to go and chew him out because he was completely wrong (film student, wooo!).
I thought that first clip was kind of funny. The joke overstayed its welcome but I found nothing particularly racist about it. More like incredulity at how fucking dumb religious extremists are. It was definitely satire and not at all racist, especially compared to the things Russell Peters and other comedians get away with. Siding with Uwe when that chick was ripping into him about "that racist bullshit" was a truly stomach-churning experience.

Not walking up to JoCo when he was standing at the booth all alone before his show and asking him to have my babies/for a hug. After the show, there was a massive line and my feet hurt, so I just went home and missed out on a super chance to actually talk to him.

I regret not going to the concert on Saturday night. That was something my boyfriend was really looking forward too, and we went out to eat too late and it just took longer than we expected, so we settled for console freeplay (he did get to play Bioshock, so I think that helped a little).

And I should've snagged the Master Chief on Friday when I saw him, 'cause I didn't see a bit of him for the rest of the weekend. My younger sister would have just died if I had taken a picture with him. Sadly, she had to settle for a UNSC messenger bag.

I'm totally bummed I didn't get to meet Grey Rucka, but my husband did get me his autograph, which is better than a kick to the teeth.
I drank waaay too much Friday night and missed all of Saturday 'cause I was sick and stayed in bed all day.
Wish I would've taken more pictures.
But there is always next PAX!

My only regret was not taking the time out to tell Wil Wheaton that his speech was VERY good. But I am sure he already knows. Aside from that, I had a nice chat with G&T and got pictures taken. PAX07 was awesome and I had a blast the entire time. Next year I'm getting more friends in on the fun!

Didn't get to see the OneUps as I was I was in the trivia contest. Really wanted to see them though. I really hope they come back next year! I want to see them!

I wanted to do handheld battles, but I felt too shy to just jump in and throw down challenges to people with buttons. Next year, I will be bolder!

I never found out what the hell was up with the freeplay station that was playing some sort of custom Guitar Hero playlist. I only saw it in passing as I was hanging out with my friends and I never got back to it. I wanted to take a closer look.

Also, not being rich enough to impulse buy a Zelda ocarina at the ocarina stand at Pikes Place Market. I bet that lady cleaned up with PAX in town. They were cool, but $50 was a bit much with all of the other stuff I bought.

Not getting a chance to talk to Wil Wheaton. I lined up for him like 4 times, and the few times that I got close, he ended up leaving.

Oh, and not bringing a DS. I don't know what i was thinking, going to PAX without a handheld.

Oooh, and not getting into TerraDrive pre-PAX, so I could have had more of a chance to be interactive in it, even though it was a lot of fun.

Anyone who asked me for a powerup got one for free, and anyone who asked any of my booth staff (and/or me) how to play, got taught personally (takes about 3 minutes to learn, start to finish). Next year, we'll hook you up, I promise.

I personally regret the person that busted the safe in the World's Smallest Dungeon. That was a once-a-day bigass prize that we couldn't offer anymore.

Next year I'm bringing a real safe, not a toy one, and you'll need dynamite (or Stimutax) to bust it open.

But I recognize that dude got excited and probably didn't realize it was totally totalled after he broke it open, so no hard feelings. That strobe light gets to you after a while, I'm sure. :)

I missed Jonathan Coulton, that was a bummer. I missed a few of the omegathon matches. I don't have a DS or PSP. I didn't have a link cable for my gameboy classic, so I couldn't enter it into the handheld matches. I saw "Gabe" after PAX ended, and right as I was running up with a brand new copy of Attack of the Bacon Robots, I paused because I didn't have a pen, and bam, he was gone. Lastly, I regret getting an nVidia pin - I spent much of my time glancing at people's chests and getting tapped on the shoulder to say "five-five-one-nine-seven".

I am, however, very glad I bought a Large PAX '07 shirt before they ran out.

It really wasn't a "I'm a dumbass" moment but a timing conflict. You see my birthday was August 27th my 16th birthday. So if PAX had been later i wouldn't have my brother take me. I would just drive myself. Lucky for me i got a DV9000t entertainment notebook from HP for my Birthday and still got to go to PAX this year and next year i will drive myself. Also i regret not being skilled in any tabletop or TCG but i will train in a few over the next year to be ready.

I regret going to see FF 7 instead of Jonathon Coulton. I walked in midway through "Re: Your Brains" and realized I'd missed something incredible. Hopefully I'll catch him at Bumbershoot this weekend.
