I have to say that of all the sandbox games that are in production now this one looks like it's the most fun. It's a damn shame if it's been pushed back but I guess that in the end we'll benefit from it.
Dude, fuck YOU! Co-op made Crackdown 40x as fun, just because you could shoot your friend in the face with a rocket, and pick his dead flaming body up and huck it across the city.

Game this year or shooting some random asshole in the face? I'll take it this year thanks. As much as I'd love to shoot you in the face. Ba dum dum dush.
GTA4 is a great example. Would you rather they shove out a game so you can play it quicker? Or maybe let them y'know, finish a product more worthy of our $60. It's this weird thing where, if I spend money on a game, I'd like to know they did their best to make it quality.
Games rushed to get onto shelves always suffer in some regard. I'll take my games completed, thanks. And yes, people love multiplayer. Because it can add great re-playability to any game. So just because you won't play it doesn't mean others won't enjoy it.

Didn't play GTA: multiplayer. The time would've been better spent however going back to the drawing board to figure out what made the other games fun.
Oh no, don't mention GTA IV around DW. He got the copy of the game that featured no fun, so spent every post complaining how it wasn't as good or fun as the others, while everyone else actually played a copy they loved.

I should post him mine or something.
I'd prefer if you posted me the drugs you were on while playing it.

Not to drag this down into a GTA IV discussion, I'll make this the last I say on the issue. I tried GTA III, VC and SA and could only manage to play them for maybe an hour at best before I got bored or frustrated. I had absolutely no care for the characters or story, and this was magnified by spectacularly poor controls and frustrating mission design.
GTA IV I completed and carried on playing, not wanting to stop. Sure it got a little lost mid-way, but somehow Rockstar managed to get it right this time and turn out an exceptional game that kept me hooked from start to finish.
No drugs were needed, sorry.
From the previews it looked a bit floaty and unconvincing. I'm glad they're waiting til 2009 to polish it. Hell, six months ago the cars didn't have proper textures, I don't think a 2009 date is unreasonable.

Very nice. Looks like a number of things have been fixed up a bit. The guy's appearance is a lot more distinctive now instead of the plain hooded guy they had before (although the popped collars are a little annoying). Graphics look like they've been upgraded some and the movement/world interaction looks solid now. Absorption happens fast, too.
Been looking forward to this for a long while now.
I'd almost completely forgotten about this game. Definitely one of the more interesting titles coming out in the next year or so, looking forward to it.
Looking good, just like an evolved spiritual sequel to their Hulk game should. Glad he takes off the hood, now we don't have to worry about his hood transforming along with him and looking goofy.
Not sure I'm keen ont eh new urban vampire look. Preferred his previous style. Looked like Kyle Reese, someone who stole or made the first pair of clothes they could.

It's been known since May.
There won't necessarily be multiplayer, with the extra time it's just become a possibility.

That good ole' Activision Blizzard merger is not the coolest thing here in Vancouver.
It was delayed to make the game better. There MIGHT be multiplayer. If they have the time it MIGHT happen.
Their main focus was to make the single player better.
One of the games I am looking forwards to most.

It's not like there aren't any other games coming out before 2009 that are going to be good.

Personally though I am looking forward to assimilating people who I defeat in Rock Band 2's score duels.

I doubt it will affect this game too much, but I worry for the future.
They lost 100 people and 2 projects. The math works out alright. It's a shame about the firings, though. They make great games.
Can't wait for Prototype. Based on what I've seen, it's a purchase for sure. Hulk: UD was amazing, and this looks even better.
Prototype is now set for a Summer 2009 release, and here's a new video to celebrate.
