How lovely, see what poor math skills does, Zot? Anyway, I can tell you that you guys would certainly want to see me live for more than one night... for one, I can make it so we don't need to target visiblehowl as I might be able to ascertain if he's telling the truth or not.

You've all but told us now that you could be a seer of some sort. I'd highly suggest you elborate very clearly as someone's bound to kill you for this implied claim right here and if you wish to live the night, you have to convince us to not vote for you and you need to convince any guardians out there to protect you.

I typically wouldn't come out and do something like this, but I'd be surprised if half the players won't pick up on this.

Ok, yes fair enough, I'm a seer and now am a huge target as well. Could a good guardian kindly guard me for the night? I promise I will seer visiblehowl unless a more relevant target comes along before then. Also all the good people may want to retract from me, juuust in case!

Wow, you're an idiot. First of all you're making yourself a target for the bad guys, second of all you honestly think I can't count?

I read through a page too quickly. Get over it, and stop acting stupid. The bandwagon was after you before I starting typing my post. I'm keeping my vote on you which will probably incriminate me but I don't think you're a seer, you're just trying something desperate to save yourself.

If a good guy ends up dying because the guardian wasted his protection on you, you're going to end up in an awful situation.

With all that said, you might actually be a seer but I doubt it.

    Wait, what?

So Xevo is either a seer, or a bad guy pretending to be a seer to dodge the bandwagon. (edit: or a villager pulling a crazy stunt)

I'm not sure what to think of this. I lean towards the bad guy scenario. If I was a seer in Xevo's situation I'd just try to build a bandwagon against someone else and/or defend myself as well as I could, rather than just out myself. In any case, if our guardian decides to protect Xevo, for the love of god do not reveal your identity to him until he has been confirmed in some way!

Why do people seem to always assume people who are outing themselves are secretly bad guys? It would be MUCH harder to pull off faking being a good guy when you're actually bad, especially because the real good seer would likely seer you the first night. Regardless, as stated, I'll seer visiblehowl tonight, and if I'm alive tomorrow I'll be able to confirm what side he's on.

Why is Xevo pretending to be a seer? Because it's easy to fake. You can just make up results if you want, claiming people are evil.

Whereas if he claimed to be a vigilante he'd have to kill someone to prove it.

I'm not saying I'm certain he's evil, just that it's a distinct possibility.

Well, it depends on whether we are ok with potentially killing a seer on day 1 by the vote.

I might suggest we either give him the chance to prove himself, but specials don't contact him unless he comes to you first as he'd be able to tell you what you guys are. For example, if Telcus really is a pig sticker as he claims as his role, I bet the real seer can tell someone that. Hence, if he feels seering Telcus is a good idea tonight, he should die.

While risky, we could pick a secondary target and try to aim for a tie, see who breaks it or use those voting records to figure out who's who. It's an option but would take a lot of cooperation and constant reminders to those of us who don't have much time to read up before voting.

There are 3 distinct possibilities here:

    1. Xevo is who he says he is, and will require guarding tonight. He'll also have to come forward with seering results that can be confirmed.

    2. Xevo is evil and is trying to either: A) Get the real seer to come forward or B) Get any other good guys to contact him.

    3. Xevo is just a vanillager and is trying to save his own skin. This happened in the Harry Potter Phalla and ended up costing the good guys a special, and it's generally a selfish thing to do.

If you're doing #3 Xevo, I swear I will kill you.

We don't know. The death could be RNG'd (that is to say, random) or they both die, or neither die. We'd have to tie it up to find out, and typically we loathe ties.

I quite specifically DON'T want good guy specials to contact me, and none have thus far. I would like to see the vig out himself after sending orders and after the vote tonight, that way we have a network of two. Again, I plan to seer the one obvious target at the moment, visiblehowl, who claims he's a badguy. I need to be guarded as I guarantee the bad guys are smart enough to come after me tonight. Tomorrow, hopefully, we'll have the beginnings of a network. If you guys vote me out, or I don't get guarded, the good guys are gonna be without a good way to network, and the bad guys will take a huge early lead...

Oh and since I can't officially "quote" my role PM, I will say that my nightly power is to pick a person, look through their things, and discover "if they possess anything that might reveal their true intentions" thus telling me their role.

Not that I'm going to get into an argument about it here, but what I did was called soaking up bad guy kills... they wasted a lot of time and energy trying to kill me and I turned out to just be a vanilla.

Despite what he said in the thread I had made Tossrocks aware that I wasn't really the seer.

And what you're doing is sabotaging the good guy network by asking the vigilante to out himself.
