I saw some pretty cool stuff at PAX, that's for sure. I'd have to say that John Woo's Stranglehold was under-advertized for how mind-bendingly awesome I found it. For those who didn't walk by the demo PC, it's about like Max Payne, but with more destructible environments, and crazier action. It's a shame the PC system reqs are so high. This was right up there with timeshift - I guess I'm a sucker for slow-motion gunfights. Of course, the Halo 3 matches kind of took the cake on the awesome scale. Even if I don't plan on getting a 360, and won't be holding my breath for a PC port, that was a seriously intense game of Halo.

well, I got to meet MC frontalot, and get his autograph. I tried out the witcher for awhile, and asked the guy there some questions. Man am I looking forward to that. It could be the new HP computer me and a few friends were shown in a private room (at least I'm assuming it was private, I haven't heard any talk of it from anyone else). the concerts? the huge classic gaming collection in that one room? man, you are giving us waaaaaayyyy too many choices.

huge classic gaming collection? Dude, if you want HUGE come over and hang out. Mine is twice that, nay perhaps 3 times the size of that.
and my consoles/games/controllers aren't yellowed or dirty.
Well, I actually met Jerry, but it was kind of embarrassing 'cause I went totally stuttering fan-girl on him. I like walked past, did a double-take, stood there thinking "No way, I think that's Tycho, what's he doing just hanging out by himself, oh God, he's looking right at me, probably because I'm standing 2 feet in front of him with my eyes bulging and my jaw hanging, please let me not be drooling, quick as him to sign my book!" All I got out was "could....could you sign..." while awkwardly digging around my book bag and thrusting my book at him. He was nice though, and understood my attempted request. Afterwords I felt like a total nerd. :P
Other than that, I'd say the Farcry 2 demo, it was cool watching an unscripted demo, the guy was like, "Now if you look over here you'll see..Shit! *dives for cover under a barrage of gunfire* It helped that he seemed just as much into the game as a typical gamer trying out a new toy. Also, the trees were pretty.

I was like that first time I met tycho in 2005. I was like "uguughughguhguggh" and gabe was like "you want us to sign that?" and all i could mutter was "yes please" etc etc... since i first met them at a smaller con my friend and i were able to have a nice 1 on 1 (or is that 2 on 2??")

it gets easier. This was my fifth time seeing them, and every time i have them sign my badges.
this years coolest thing?
Wil wheton was awesome, but i'm going to go with watching a crowd brutaly, analy, Verbaly gangraping Uwe boll with slams against his movies.
I almost feinted when i heard mc frontalot and crew play the penny arcade theme to the tune of katamari on the rocks. It was funny too because he said "remix" and me and my friend looked at eachother and said uh-oh!
