Alright I can kill three enemies every 2 minutes, so assuming the enemies respawn I could powerlevel for about 20 minutes, and maybe have enough time to barely beat the next three bosses and get out of there.
Okay so I powerlevel as much as I can, and I have my girl who will do 800 damage, thats nearly one half of what I need to deal in one round to take one of these guys down, and they hit her with MOTHER FUCKING SILENCE.
I never read about this ANYWHERE. I think you are doing something wrong.
I'm not kidding, I am ONE-HITTING each monster I fight. I am capable of doing 800 damage a round, and yet these boys are just tossing me aside like I am nothing.
In all honesty the deciding factor of this battle is the first four rounds, If Kluke can stay alive and get off one full charged water spell, I would be wrecking these fools. But something always goes wrong... Like they know who is the most deadliest on my team.
UberEv, what can I do to prepare? I'm only a half hour in, but I wouldn't mind knowing any tips before hand so I don't run into a similar situation. Did you fight every monster you came across so far? Explored everywhere? Or just kept going with the story and skipped a few things/areas?

Start off the battle, I get first hit, charge up Klukes water, it goes off and deals 800 damage to all enemies. She dies but that's ok, as I'm about to launch hell on those assholes.... my Xbox 360 locks up. I'm going to lose it soon.
Powerlevel I guess, Don't ever get the idea that just because your one-hitting every monster you come across that your powerful. Just fucking powerlevel as much as humanly possible. I don't care if your dealing 3000 damage and you haven't fought the Land Shark yet, you are NOT STRONG ENOUGH.
5th floor and we are cutting this shit close at 13 minutes gentlemen. That one boss three floors down was an anomaly because nothing else has challenged my might yet.
Anyways, what's with the chests encased in blue? Is there a way for me to open them yet? I don't really want to leave the area without knowing how to open that, if possible.

Once you're on DVD2 and a bit further into the story, you'll get the means to open them.
I see no need for an edit button as Klyka and I are the only things keeping this thread afloat. It was like bumping a post through an epic five level tower of doom! Also Klyka, they managed to fit Silent Hill on disc 3! This game has everything! (I am shitting you not).
I have to say, besides the fact that I want to smash Marumaru's head in with a bat, I'm having a lot of fun with this game. The Gooch has me wrapped around his finger.
As one of the biggest gripers early in the thread, I'll come out and say I may have been very wrong. I'm not very far in the game yet but it's engaged me. The demo didn't at all.

I rather like Marumaro now, but it looks like I'm the only one.
II also like the childish fascination with poo. Poo snakes, poo hermit crabs, having to dig through poo to find loot, etc. Btw, those bloody lazy bears respawn. I killed a couple who were blocking my way into the Gul Mountains and on my way back, they were sitting on the ass blocking the road again.
I can't figure out the charge bar for the life of me. Do I want to get it in the red? Or what?
The further it goes, the more you charge your attack. Red is the optimal level of charge. However, the farther you go, the more chances you'll change the attack order and delay your attack. Each line you pass on the bar is connected to a character in the battle. Every line you pass bumps you behind that person in the attack order. So, it's a risk vs. reward. The further you charge, the further back you go in the order until that attack is unleashed.
I hope that helped! I always try not to go past the enemy in the order I'm trying to attack with the charged attack, as a basic strategy. But then I'm not too far into the game yet with everything else I'm playing right now.

This may well be the best game with the shittiest demo ever. Fucking amazing they could make this game and think that demo was a good way to entice people to buy it.

Sucks that you're going to have to start over...

I do the same thing.
I'm also playing the game on "hard" so hopefully I won't be one shotting anything...

DO NOT SPOIL ME!
I hope I can play this weekend, work is keeping me occupied.

Disc 3 Spoilerz (Not too much story and a rather "natural progression" but spoilered anyway:
