Does anyone, anyone at all, play Dark Age of Camelot anymore? I've had quite the urge to play this comming off of a wow addiction. If so, I would like to get something going on one of the servers. I used to play many moons ago and would like to get some people together and play again. Anyone interested?

You should play it again for a bit before you try to recruit people.

I went back all bright-eyed almost a year ago and I tried to like it even though it was clunky looking back. And I did. Then I started PvPing and remembered that as a caster you can't do shit if anyone is attacking you and as a melee you can't hit shit if you move at all.

It was a great game for its time but some of the mechanics are super fucking dumb in retrospect and made it impossible for me to stay for more than a month.

I tried getting back into it a few months ago. The classic servers got clustered together so now there is a nice big population. The grind is still the same, even though you now have Task Dungeons to grind. They should just take the grind out and let you auto level your character through the battlegrounds. Actually just Thid and the big ol realm fight. PvP in the battlegrounds can be fun, and horrid at the same time. Many many twinks rolling around crushing you, gank squads of damn hibby vampires are afoot constantly and Albion generally out weighs everyone in numbers.

You're better off qutting MMO's for awhile and enjoying life.
