I just downloaded this for xbox live. Man it's even better than I remember and I'm using the shield rod too. The fight with cerebus in the mines all his attacks only do 1 dmg with a certain combo thanks to fire/lightning protection.

...really this thread is just a bad coverup I have to equip the familiars but I don't know how! I've spent an hour searching online and nada. Anyone know how? :)

    Pause, go into your Relics menu, turn on the appropriate card.

    The "Relics" page in the main menu, choose the "Name of familiar" Card.

    ahhh they are under relics? I never would have guessed that I was mashing all kinds of buttons and direction in the familiars page. Thanks :D
