I live in Carlsbad (San Diego for those who don't know where Carlsbad is) so yeah I am a typical socal'er, but you have to have a lot of money to live in Santa Monica, much less L.A.
I don't know why the fuck anyone would want to live in either of those places, unless you dig the hollywood scene. But then again i've lived here since I was born, so as soon as it's viable for me to move, i'm moving FAR away, maybe even Europe. Just because I like movies doesn't mean I respect the industry. I think the people who work in the movie business are absolute scum (while some can be very good people, though).

Anyhow, that was me hanging out with her little brother becuase I didn't want to go with her to the raves and do all sorts of cocaine or ecstasy or whatever. The short amount of time I did spend with her, she ended up stopping to talk to a friend of hers from school, who at the young age of 19 was fresh out of rehab and pregnant with her second kid. Apparently all there is to do there is drink, do drugs, and fuck, which people end up doing in excess.

Good: They just created a $2 theater
Bad: I have to wait 2 months before the $2 theater gets movies that are coming out now. I just can't force myself to shell out $9 for a movie anymore.

Truckee sounds like Santee, even though Santee isn't bad anymore at all, just a high incidence of trailer parks going towards the trolley station

Now I live in San Francisco, but I grew up in Truckee, a small town in the Sierra Nevada, right by Lake Tahoe. That's where the pictures were taken.
I think it gets more snow than just about any other place in the country. There have been years where it snowed at least once every single month.
