I want an Autarch. Just give me one and make all of those units better.
Or, you know, Striking Scorpions. Either one works for me.

This nick-pick was supposed to be more timely and sound less , but that was before Goomba and friends nerd raged'd for several pages while I was at work:
As far as 40k canon goes the squats pretty much don't exist anymore. Almost completely destroyed by the tyranids. I don't believe they're even considered usable units anymore in the tabletop, although the could be incorrect.
As far as canon goes, The Squats haven't been mentioned since 1993. And that includes the scrapped idea of hinting in the Tyranid Codex that their core worlds were devoured by hive fleets.
Sure, the notion of their decimation as a major power interests me, but it's nothing more than a false meme, and if I can either keep it from getting repeated in places I like to hang out or pull an actual cited source out of someone I'll point it out as such.
They definitely haven't been usable for the last 10 years. Hell, the 2nd Ed book doesn't even show any of their minis in its gallery.
Oh yeah, I just bought the platinum edition recently, I need to get back into playing DoW online.
Nope, that's standard move. They'll move to where you tell them first then engage enemies afterwards. Attack-move makes them attack enemies that they see on the way to their destination.
I've never even used attack-move, so I don't know how far your units will pursue a fleeing enemy or anything. It's not really my concern.
Mostly I just try to keep a single eye on the minimap and direct my units accordingly.
Edit: I used to use control groups back when I played competitively. It's something I stopped doing around the time WA came out. Played Chaos competitively in 1v1s often in vanilla, even before automatch worked right.

Attack move is more useful for the shootier races anyway, since melee units have to move close to attack anyway. Chaos and Orks, being more melee based, makes it less of an issue for me.
I imagine it's rather handy for Firewarriors and Guardsmen and Reapers and Rangers and blah blah blah.

My ISP remains shit. I can't use vent, and thus I can't play.

Boosh.
We up for some games?
I don't think we are.
So maybe we can score a couple of games if we're lucky.
woo
Edit: assuming someone makes a game, that is.

I'm heading off to bed.
Rushing the enemy base has never been so annoying/costly.
I guess Vypers and DRs are sorta the same.
you mean like plasma grenades?
He means like grenade launchers. That Guardsmen use. And Cultists.
Except longer range and more than one per minute.
Like 20 per minute.
But the emperor's enemies are going unpunished. Xeno scum and traitors have a free hand across the galaxy. This is not good, not good at all.
Ever since I've gone back to Space Marines, things have gone good for me, so I'll be glad to smite the heretics while you're inactive.
Anyway, I won't be able to play for quite a while, but I'll like to see if people want to play later on in the day.
How do you deal with khorne berserkers? Just rush to vehicles?
I laugh at them until they die.
You hear me Rob?
I'm laughing at you.
If noone plays with me then I shall go automatch and become more powerful than you could ever imagine.
You are on the way to destruction. You have no chance to survive make your time. Ha Ha Ha.
Now I just sorta click in the general direction of the enemy (without attack-move). Works well enough.
When I originally told him I play only using the mouse and left/right click with no attack-move he called me a dirty liar.
Until he found out it was true and he wept. Wept.
And don't units attack-move if you just click?
But not control groups? I mean, some people might not, but that's been around forever.

Also, control groups? Maybe for Harlequins, but that's because they're so small because they aren't in a squad and they don't glow.
God sometimes they just seem like they wanna melee for no reason.
