I'm down for something for the next 1/2 hour or so as my lasagna cooks, then I'll need a few minutes to eat before I'm good again.
Regarding the expansion, I'll only buy it if the new IG unit is some sort of decent anti-vehicle. Hell, just giving Guardsmen the option to equip melta guns would do it (and flamers, but that's another matter).

Almost done eating. I am incredibly embarrassed that during the second game I played I forgot Goomba wasn't my teammate despite the fact that he was raping my manz the entire match.
I WOULD play. But you bastards told me, basically, to destroy my Hamachi install.
It can't be that hard to fix hamachi. Christ.
He's not as technology inclined as some of us. Even if I tried talking him through it, he does have a pretty much fubar install of windows on his machine. The only surefire way is for him to wipe and start from scratch, which I'm sure he doesn't want to do or has the time to do right now.

Didja check the network connections? Having the hamachi binding first in the advanced page worked for me.
There's a difference between having half to a whole hour to play, to having to wipe and reinstall everything, which can typically take 2-3 hours depending on drivers and specific programs that need to be put back in. Right now he just has to live without playing DC on Hamachi, while the rest of his PC works. I personally wouldn't wipe the whole thing and start over unless I really wanted to in this case.

Yeah, but, if his windows is so fucked up that he can't install anything, I don't think it would be long before he would want to reinstall stuff.

We told you to downgrade your hamachi install. Which is normally incredibly easy and painless, with no drawbacks. What features, exactly, does 1.0.2.2 have which 1.0.1.5 doesn't and that you use? None. 1.0.1.5 is, out of the box (so to speak), more game-friendly.
Goomba did exactly what you did and it worked fine for him. Noone said "olo let's tell MechMantis to do this that way he'll be fucked olo".
Stop taking it out on us that your windows installation is not working correctly. Yeah, it sucks, no, it's not our fault.
There isn't a computer software problem that cannot be fixed with a bit of work, I've had things go wrong on my computer too but regardless of what triggered it, I went through the process of fixing it without placing blame on others.
Edit: You made a conscious decision to try to downgrade. Noone forced you. You did it so you could have more luck connecting to others via Hamachi, thus improving your playing experience. Take responsibility for the fact that you did, in fact, decide yourself to do this. You're old enough to make your own mind up.
I've decided to do things before which ended badly, and I'm not just talking about computers. Shit happens.

Actually you and Goomba told everyone to downgrade, and Goomba was rather forceful. You were the only one who didn't have 1.0.2.2 so if there had been any version incompatibility issues, it's because you didn't want to upgrade. I looked around and I have found no definitive info that shows that 1.0.1.5 is any better than other options. More then likely people are having trouble due to firewall rules and port configurations (because somen people don't have acces to their routers and it can't be helped). Since they've been bought out, there's another set of ports that are suggested to be configured and I know for a fact I'm the only one who has those forwarded already because no one else ever bothers to check and they ask me for the info.
Actually, MechMantis was having problems connecting to people anyway, he already had a problem and I suggested he downgrade to fix it. Whilst it may be true that 1.0.2.2 can be fiddled with to make it work as well, 1.0.1.5 does not require such. Yes, you still need to make sure it isn't blocked by a firewall, but the same can be said for most if not all internet applications which directly connect as intimately as hamachi does.
At the end of it, the downgrade was a suggestion, and I was trying to help MechMantis fix his problem. I will not have some prick tell me I forced someone to break their computer when I was trying to be helpful.
If you persist in trying to place blame on others for this unfortunate turn of events, Ubergeek, I do believe we will have nothing more to say to each other.
From Hamachi discussion forums on using Hamachi to play games:
"It worked in the older version, but doesn't anymore. Why?" In order to make Hamachi more compatible with real VPN environments, the binding order was changed to have Hamachi's adapter have the lowest priority. Games are particularly bad at not having a networking setup capable of intelligently working on a multiple network adapter system. Instructions in raising the Hamachi adapter's priority are in the first link above.
Edit: And we already ruled out my not having 1.0.2.2 as being the problem (MechMantis couldn't connect to Akira who also had 1.0.2.2). I have probably the best setup for hosting of anyone, my router is in DMZ mode, meaning it blocks no traffic, and I have a good amount of rules set on my software firewall so it doesn't impede me either. I have never had anyone be unsuccessful in connecting to me except MechMantis.

I never really said "MechMantis do this or I will fucking cut your nose off and hide it in your stove so when you cook for company it smells like burning flesh but you won't know and you won't be able to play because I will fucking kick your dumb shithead ass out every game." It was more of a "Downgrade goddamnit fuck".
You know, the same way I act whenever I want people to do something. I say "Goddamnit fuck".
Edit: now goddamnit fuck, let's play a game.

Like, a pair eats a Predator. Eats.
Anything that's not a tank. Even D-cannons fuck those little shits up.
DoW does need more melta guns, though. You know who likes melta guns and flamers? Witch Hunters.
Pretty much, I have come to the conclusion that sentinels are armored with wet tissue paper, I'd like some sort of reliable anti-vehicle weaponry.
Why not just throw squats in, they're more popular. Shit.
Early game wise, I send in the scouts to slow them down a bit.
I usually have a assault squad for situations like these too.
Also Sentinels are more fragile than an swan crafted from Origami.
I've come to believe that I've taken shits more tougher than them.
Guys come play please.
!!!?
Jerks.

Also, apparently this will help us?
