I just got a raise so it's pretty okay, but I've got to take care of two sites simultaneously bussing between them is rough.

It is really hard work.
It isn't very rewarding either
but thats because they let me leave whenever i want and im lazy so i end up staying for like 2 hours before i get bored
and then next friday its like "oh hey heres almost 200 bucks"
it's pretty awesome.
i spent most of last week messing around with a new 24" iMac.

My friend works for a storage facility and basically does the same thing as you.

It's not a job that will make me a millionaire ever, but I sure as hell can live pretty comfortably from it.
I'm still trying to figure out if having full medical and dental is cooler then riding in a fire truck (it isn't).

In our city we work one 24 hour shift every 4 days. Some days you don't do jack shit because nothing happens in the city, and sometimes you don't do anything because it just isn't happening on your side of town, but on some days you can be as busy as all get out. But we do some sort of training and some kind of area familiarization every shift though.
