Hell Biker was a joke in my playthrough, but I haven't tried Hard yet. Never bought much from that Shady Broker either, though I can check my DJ guide later; I'm sure it says what he's selling.

To anyone playing Nocturne. You MUST get the 'White Rider'. I don't recall how to fuse him (though it requires a Deathstone, I recall that much) but he will last you the entire fucking game.
Seriously, I had him from mid-game to the very final battle. He has two moves that really turn the game in your favour.
More White Rider specifics:
Since he's a boss he has all the normal boss immunities on top of (IIRC) being immune to fire. His two skills are God's Bow and Prominence.
God's Bow is a single-target 'very high chance' Expel attack. By 'very high chance' it means that it will never miss. Ever. Unless an enemy flat out nulls/repels it, it will hit. Always
Prominence is the strongest fire spell in the game and is arguably the strongest spell when it comes to singular damage. It can hit a single enemy twice or 3 enemies once (I think!). It does a shit ton of damage (I've had it do over 500 per hit) even early on.
Seriously, get him. Get him hard
And of course, when he learns all his moves he just breaks the game in half.
Mana Aid = infinite arrows. Ahahaha. AHAHAHAHA.
I also love Black Frost because he's pretty much a fuzzy little element wall once he's fully leveled. A fuzzy little element wall with murder in his heart.
I'll confess, though, I dropped White Rider because I needed the slots to create and level other Fiends. I didn't like the Riders that much - they got less useful as they progressed. White is awesome, Red is cool, Black is okay and Pale's attack just chew through his HP with little return value. Of course, then you get The Harlot and all is awesome again.

Black has that Curse-type move that cuts all enemies HP in half. Curse resistance is rare in normal enemies so it's a nice way to cut down on battle time.
Thanks for the help with that boss (everyone above). I ended up getting the item from Narcissus (damn... I might be using that persona more often :winky: ) before I could register her in the compendium so I juts gave it to my main char, with null wind... and went to town. She charmed me about 1/3 of the time (tried to anyway). So thanks guys!

Yeah, starting up January and I still have Fortune, Priestess, Empress, Emperor, Tower, Sun, Hermit and Devil to complete.
And I got the level 8/9 Hermit dialog. Talk about a bomb dropper.

I know that persona (in storage) and equipment/items do, and S.Links don't.
Yes. Though you could manage it, even if they didn't, I believe.

It's possible to get the right stat for the right person maxed by the day you meet them. You just have to stay diligent.
I'm gonna stop playing for awhile as this is my second NG+ and as much as I love the game, a lot of the stuff I looked past before (like the somewhat slow pacing at times and the dungeon crawling) starts to get to you after awhile.

The funny thing is that the figure from mythology is male, but, even knowing that, I thought at first glance that the persona was female... possibly because Atlus has done funny things before, like assigning a female gender to Gabriel, when angels are basically gender-free but generally depicted as androgynous men.
Of course, confusing the matter is the version of the myth where Narcissus had a twin sister...

I'd like to know what Persona to use on that special boss!
I had no trouble picking out Narcissus as a guy, my first thought when I saw him was more "is that a narcissus flower on his head? How odd". He looks a bit girly, but then, so do most bishonen (probably helps that I did know the myth beforehand).
Still making terribly slow progress. Just got past the floor 201 boss.
He was easy enough after whoring out the earlier mentioned Narcissus, never did get those anti-charm items for the earlier charm boss.

One of the archangels (Uriel? I think) starts with null charm. Long as you have enough dis-charm items and stick with healing, that boss drops like a bag of hammers.
And I'll post the recommended Persona list for the Special boss when I get home tonight.

It has multiple ones with their own sets of strength/weaknesses.
Of course, they're all immune to death/status effects.

Half the challenge of getting to the boss is the fact that it's at the top level of Monad and you must face it ALONE.
That and the fact that once it gets within a certain range of hitpoints, it uses that one skill (the Lucifer/Satan one) that will kill you, and the fact that it gets 2 turns for everyone one of yours. There's the other half of the challenge.

I'd be kinda cheap to just try and spam Hamon or Mudo skills until they work.
Kinda like figuring that you could raise the undead and instantly kill them in another RPG series.
