Man, I just started playing this again after like a month long break. I must finish this game. So Elizabeth is also lying about the floors that the other shadow crystal or whatever item is on right? Anyone remember what floors it's actually on? I don't want to look for an hour on the wrong floors. I'm sounding confusing but just to clarify I'm on the second shadow whatever quest where the item is somewhere in block 4.

For the record She has 20K hp and restores it all at 10K one time. When She's at <9K she'll heal AND cast Megidolaon on you. This is why you need Armageddon.
Why only Resist instead of Repel or Block or Drain? She'll use Armageddon against you till you're dead.
When I finished my first run through the game, every link I had was either maxed or reveresed, except for Empress and Emperor, both of which hit 9 just before the ending.
How do you guys get all the social links? I don't get it. I'm in Sept... and Missing a TON of them. Can you join more than one club? That's the only way I can see that you can get all the Social Links. If you can join more than one I feel like a retard.

Some are triggered by getting to a certain level in "starter" S.Links. Others are time-based... one of the girls doesn't activate until November, for example.
Ask for specifics if you want one spoiled for you.

Three of them open up when you max out Charm, Courage and Academics and even then you can't start them until a certain date. Tower doesn't open up until you get the team manager to rank four.

Ahhhh okay. I don't have max anything yet. Maxing Acedemics seems pretty easy, but I always go for the S. Link levels instead. Courage is the one I have a hard time with, though, and I'm at level 3 I think
Assuming you've completed your necessary Tartarus tasks for the month, get yourself tired or sick, and be sure to stay up late to stay sick as much as possible. Then go to the nurse's office every day to take the horrible medicine. Also Kareoke every night... if you do forego a S.Link in the afternoon, see an action movie or go to the mystery burger place. It's possible to gain 8 Courage points in a single day.

You can't meet Devil until you've gotten another Link to a certain level.

So, last night my sister is playing Persona 3 and I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics on my PSP and the thouht occurs to me how awesome it might be if Atlus decided to create a strategy RPG based on Shin Megami Tensei. Maybe not Persona so much, but maybe after Nocturne where you have to recruit and/or fuse demons to be in your party. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the info. I did look it up and found that there were three Last Bibles spread out over the GB, GBC, SNES and Game Gear. Only one made it to America and was renamed Revelations: The Demon Slayer for the GBC.
Having said that, though, current gen version please? :P

I wish they'd bring the SMT MMO(Imagine) over here. That's an MMO I'd actually play.
I don't think Devil Summoner PS2 sold well enough. Despite being a solid game, it didn't sell like Nocturne, DDS, or P3, as far as I've heard. So, translating it might not have been seen as profitable... despite the fact that it actually might have been better on the PSP than on PS2... I could forgive the strange combat on a hand-held... and I'll be the first to admit that the photo-real backdrops of Devil Summoner would have looked great on the PS2's widescreen.

Nah that wasn't Last Bible. You're thinking Majin Tensei and there were two of them. The first one was more or less like Fire Emblem SMT ver. The second mixed some terrain effects making it like Tactics Ogre and it took a view like front mission.
The character portraits in the first were pretty boss. Nicely detailed stuff. I'd like to play it someday, blasted moon language.
It'd be interesting however if Atlus did put out a modern SMT or otherwise Srpg.
On a different note, nabbed DDS1 for around 65 after shipping. Jeez I wish it was cheaper but at least it's near mint but without manual. At least it's good that when I go around shopping for 2 I won't have to pay as much.
Fuuka's not too bad, though I dislike her voice acting.
So far, I've done a hell of a job working up my social rank with Hanged Man, Magician, Hierophant. I only really plan on working up the ranks I like this first time around. Definitely want to grab Devil when it opens up.

Also, the Crystal is an ordinary treasure so clear all the chests, not just the gold ones.

If it's not listed it's maxed.
Given that I'm on Jan 4, I think I can cap Sun and Hermit. Tower would be pushing it though.

I never did max out Justice or Fortune. By the time I finally maxed out Strength, I went around spending a little time on everyone.

Temperance comes from Heirophant, Tower comes from Strength, Devil comes from Hermit, Justice comes from Emperor, Priestess comes from Fortune.
