The Peddy School, a miraculous freak of nature in todays dipshit filled America is in walking distance of Princeton, not only that, but all academic scholarships to peddy are tranferred to Princeton if you get one and complete school.(I still believe that Unseen University is based partly on Princeton, or Princeton still has that english college feel)

The problem:I need to know how to get in, I need to know what the hell the dean of entry actually likes in a person, and whether or not I should be honest(ie come as an unwashed nerd whose eyes light up when you ask him about games or technology.)

I also need to know the general atmosphere of the place is, which dinner club is best for me, which places to hit up(prefferably in map form)
I will be(hopefully) attending Peddy in a years time, I will be going to Piedra Vista(in the countries top 50 wired schools(surprising for my state/town)) as soon as my IEP
(Individual Education Plan(I have CAPID(hearing disorder(stemming from being deaf for three years as a child, the stupid fags at the place where I got tested for deafness dropped books behind me, I was wearing goddamn SHORTS, how the hearing specialists thought this was a better test than using the goddamn MANDATORY headphone test is beyond my mind, the retards wanted to have me locked up at a home for problem children, I eventually got taken to the same place where I was tested before, this doctor did not have his head up his ass, and said I was deaf and had an ear infection on top of that, he gave me tubes to get rid of the infection and I had learned 50 words on the drive home)

where I am unable to tune out sound(this leads to headaches and suspicious teachers as the room never actually has an echo, but I wanted quiet time regardless(this is probably marked as antisocial behavior on my record)
ADHD(I use caffiene and games to suppress this, but I still pipe up with annoying questions regardless of the time), was homeschooled, and lastly, have HORRIBLE HANDWRITING and need to use a laptop to do m work.))

is fished out of whatever gutter the beareaucrats have been storing it in

Does being a person who had a college level reading ability at grade three count as anything special at Peddy, do they have a good tech class, etc?

I would avoid mentioning gaming, personally. Technology is fine, mentioning having played video games is fine, but personally, I'd lie about being into them. Too much stigma.

And shitloads of people read at college level in grade 3. College level really isn't that high according to the American public school system, and has nothing to do with how hard reading is in most actual colleges.

I assume you mean Peddie School. The Admissions section of their website is likely going to be the best place for information, as I doubt that many people here have had the opportunity to attend. But then again, you never know.

If applying there is anything like applying to college, then yes, honesty really is the best policy. If the school isn't the right fit for you, why lie about it? If it is, then being honest about your goals, interests, etc. will be the best way of making that clear to the Admissions staff.

edit: There is a big difference between saying that you have an interest in gaming, and eventually plan to pursue a career in that field (and really, there are other schools that would probably be better suited to that than Princeton, but that's really your call), and saying "Man I love the video games." The latter is probably not so hot an idea.

Also, go in having done your research. Plan to ask a couple of questions that aren't answered on the website, or show that you've done your homework about the school.
