Well I'm gonna uninstall starcraft. A lot of people are playing again and there's a lot of new people as well so I've been playing more. Man it's just too easy to load up SC and push back all the work I have.
I'll continue to post and watch Ascension. Get good at starcraft so I can get steamrolled when I come back in April.

The Korean Starcraft Proleague finals are live in half an hour.
I could probably give instrustions on how to watch if anybody out there wanted to see them - It's a best-of-seven series between the two best professional starcraft teams in Korea, each player can only be sent out once, the third and sixth matches are 2v2, and the players for the last match are secretly chosen on the spot out of any player on the team, even those who have played a match before.
It's not an individual leauge it's a team leauge. It's CJ Entus versus Lecaf Os. So they initially choose 4 of their players who will play 1on1s and two 2on2 teams. If it's still undecided at the 6th match (3-3) they have an "ace match" where they both can pick any of their players.
All three CJ games were thrown away, though the loss of the night was Hiya, with his retarded 3-Rax upmagic build. None of them were really worth watching except for Jaedong/Iris game.
So, did you listen to the TL mod's commentaries during the game?
If you're watching tomorrow, try to download the TL Mod's shoutcast that they did live during the game and sync it up.

Eh, that's a common abbreviation. I do that and I know the full word is pronounced "zeh-lot" instead of "zee-lot". "Zehls" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Watching the Ascension vids has actually made me better, I can fast/hard counter, and deal with cheese, I even outcheesed a cheeser on BGH.
He tried to cannon my choke- key word being tried.
I take his gas.
His pylon's dead, cutting his supply, my pylon goes up at his choke with 3 lots and probe support.
He sees it but it's too late, a probe and 3 lots outmicro his 3 lots.
My two cannon goes up, he tries to cannon my pylon, getting desperate, his probes and lots die.
I take another main, start working towards reavers, him still contained to one base with my now 2 running.
I take an expo, 3 to 1 bases now, robo facility finishes, support bay incoming.
He drops 4 lots in my base, they don't last very long.
I send in 4 speedlots and make a mess of his probes, past an army of cannons I might add.
My reaver finishes, dropship on the way, he tries to drop more lots, they die again.
Reaver mauls all his probes, he leaves.
I don't know if he was just bad or if I threw him off track or both, but his game was the usual korean letters so I wouldn't say he was a complete newbie.
I usually don't play money maps unless it's all I can find, I either get booted or lat and noone was on so I was just doing pubbies. I'll be on later though.

Maybe they were trying to differentiate between the storm the high templars get, psi storm, and the one dark archons get, the maelstorm.
Well, my friends and I all use different names for the units, but they aren't that stupid. Archons = snowballs; tier 3 zerglings = cracklings; static field = miracle whip (one of my favs); zealot rush = the million man march. There are others, and they're all less annoying than Sairs. I don't know why, but that word just pisses me off.
Oh, and since half the people we know mispronounce Maelstrom we just say "meleestorm," 'cus it sounds about as retarded as what they say, and it makes us smile.
