Why don't you try that fine theory out, then? I'm sure blinding lurkers won't be like every other unit in the game and will be remarkably unique just because.

If what you say is true, the Shaolin and the Wu-Tang could be DANGERISK.
I'm serious though, I did it not just heard it, if a Lurker's blind it won't attack until you shoot the damn thing.
If I remember correctly, a blind unit has a vision range of one (ie very small). The unit will only attack units within it's vision range, but they can share vision ranges of other units. It's kind of like how a Siege Tank can shoot farther than it can see. Float a building or comscan an area and your tanks can shoot what they couldn't see before.
If you use that same theory, even if you blinded a group of Lurkers, they could still receive vision support from Overlords or other Zerg units in the area to attack like normal. Now if you blinded the Overlord helpers as well....

I just won my first match against the CPU. I was Zerg against Protoss. I just ended up spamming hydralisks.
The CPU was a fucker for sneaking off and setting up new bases when I was laying waste to their previous one. Took me a good 15 minutes to put a stop to that.

My favorite thing to do as Protoss is build Pylons everywhere.
Everywhere.
So, you know that tiny little peninsula across the map? Pylon.
Lower right corner? Pylon.
Right next to your base? Pylon.
And then I'll put probes behind cover. They rebuild pylons if the pylons are destroyed. Mind you, I only do it if I'm most likely going to lose. But, more practically, it acts as an early warning system. "Shit, my pylons just got blown up by BCs. Better start making scouts and sairs."
I've gone nuke rush vs Zerg before. Come in with a ghost and medics to blind overlords. The only detection Zerg has besides overlords is spore colonies which they never have vs Terran. But I only do this vs newbs so half the time you don't even need to blind overlords so its kinda meh.

Optical flare reduces vision of targetted unit to 1 and removes any abilities of detection. That's all there is to it. What is wrong with you people? This is why the PTA disbanded

I thought ensnare turned a stimmed marine into a non-stimmed marine. But I probably heard it from some non-Korean who didn't do scientific tests with graphing calculators and beakers and shit.
