What's the best site to search for plane tickets these days?

I use several, and have gotten good hits on all of them.

Sidestep (don't download the adware they offer you) and Orbitz are both great for multi-airline searches (Orbitz in particular has some very powerful search tools). Unless things have recently changed, Southwest doesn't list their flights on those sites, so you have to search them individually. I usually check JetBlue individually, as well.

    I use this thing:
    http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/

It's the raw engine that powers several "matrix display" sites, but without the ads and crap.

Heh, I have Firefox. I keep forgetting that the internet has ads. :P

Well, I have all that stuff too, but a nice plain site that doesn't have any ads in the first place is still preferable to sites that do. :)

Check out Kayak. It lets you search multiple sites at once. Works beautifully. You can also have it compare its results with Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz, etc.
Also, the only ads on the page are text-based.

Edit, after checking out that itasoftware link, I can say that the two are very similar. The thing I like more about Kayak though is that once you've put in your search, you can easily filter your results on the left side of the page (adjust takeoff/landing times, different area airports, airlines, etc)

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?
