I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and going with crappy original post.
The game "looks neat," though.

I saw something like this AGES ago. It seems to be an expansion on one of those indie design competitions- you have a pile of goo and try to make the connections you saw in the video to build the highest tower possible.
Looked okay, they're just going in more directions with that, but the gameplay looks like it might get repetitive after a while.

I have a new soccer blog The Minnow Tank. Reading it psychically kicks Sepp Blatter in the bean bag.

Fair enough, I just knew I had seen him do another sitewhoring post and assumed this was a game that he was trying to pimp, futher digging makes it look more like a bad OP as you said. My mistake.
Looks like it's made by the same guy who put this out.
Fun little game, cool to see he's taken it a deeper level. Go indie games! It'd be neat if he put it on WiiWare or XBLA.

The neat thing about these types of games is that these concepts invariably get snapped up by bigger companies, and then nobody remembers the original.
e.g. Loco-Motion on the PSP. Almost identical in concept to the indie title Gish, which came out a good year before.
This one looks to be far more interesting than the original Tower of Goo, enough so that I wouldn't be suprised to see it on something like XBLA.

look at this crazy goo, it's all gooey. Because there's not really any information on it.
The video was put up today and so was this post. Leading me to believe spam.
Looks interesting though.

I played that indie game too, mtvcdm.

Goo?
Played a freeware PC version of this a long time ago.
Erm... sorry, but this is not our game.
Edit: point taken about lack of meat in OP... will add more meaty goodness from now on. In fact, here's more meat than one post can possibly handle: http://www.lileks.com/institute/gallery/meat/index.html
