Death Sentence; Bacon is back.

So, i went and saw this today. It was an alright movie, the plot was a gang member kills bacons son, so bacon kills gang member.

Then, gang members go after family, so bacon kills gang members.

The execution was just that. It had a pretty catchy song that played every time some thing emotional happens, and the ending is fucking fantastic. Hey smart ass, suck on my 357!

I recommend seeing this, it had some really terrible bits, but it's bacon.

    Some of the most realistic fights I have seen in a movie.

    Kudos if you can find the references to both Saw & Dead Silence. (All directed by James Wan.)

    Yeah, I'm not sure.

    I know that that was either by the Black Angels, or the song during the credits was.

    That Jodi Foster movie, The Brave One has pretty much the same exact plot as Death Sentence.


    and they both look cliche as hell and awful.

    Oh, you meant he song mixed throughout the entire movie? Don't know thatone off-hand. My Dad apparently liked the credit song so he stayed to find out about it then told me the band.

    Don't know the name of the song you mean.
    Edit: Actually Blank, they are alike, however the Brave One is more of a Deathwish remake.

    Actually, the movies are different than that, but it would be giving away the plots.


    No Bend, Death Sentance is a novel by the same guy that wrote Death Wish. Death Wish is about someone losing a lovedone to a gang, then going on a vigilante spree, killing anyone who is a douche/thug, not just members of the gang.

    I liked Death Sentence, it wasn't just all action, but when the action shows up it was very well done. I liked the progression of the main character, Bacon did a great job of playing up the differences from the start of the movie to the end.
