So I just got a new desk to put my PC on and now I need to get the music that I accumulated over the summer on my macbook to my PC. My iPod is broken at the moment so I can't use that method. Any other way to do it?

Ye olde crossover cable? A router?
Transferring between Mac and PC can be a pain at times. Especially if its XP Pro or Vista. When that happens, I usually just open good old AIM on both machines and get a more than decent speed.

If you have a crossover cable or a router you can just make a shared directory...
Ok so I enabled sharing on my music folder on my PC and I can see it on my mac but I can't seem to be able to get stuff from my mac to my PC. When I try to drag it over it says I do not have sufficient privileges.
How do I set it so I can move stuff from the mac to PC?

I haven't used Macs in years... but shouldn't there be some option in the CD burning software to create a disc that a PC can read? Burning as data and not audio, of course.
Barring that, could you upload the files to a website, or mail them to yourself via e-mail, or somesuch workaround, like Xenogears' AIM suggestion? No idea how many files we're talking about, though.

It sounds like you have a home network (or some sort of network link between the two). Go into System Preferences -> Sharing on the Mac. Turn on Windows Sharing or FTP. Make a note of your Mac's IP. Go to your PC and sign in to the SMB or FTP share using your Mac OS X login name and password. You can do both right from Explorer. Get your music and drag it over. Macs will bend over backwards to accommodate interoperability with any other OS on a network. There are a hundred ways you could do this.

I'm trying to do this through the router that I have. I don't know where to goto log into what ever with that.
Then press return, dismiss the error, go to the File menu and hit "login as..." and log in. YOur home folder will pop up.
It's also possible that your Mac is showing up in the Network browser in My Network Places, you could check there too. This depends partially on your router.

Which OS are you using?

Good start to the day. Pity it's going to be the worst one of your life. The light is now on.
I don't know, but your user name is hilarious.
\\your.ip.address.here\shortname
So on my local network, it looks like this:
\\192.168.1.101\zack
Then press return. Windows will ask you to log in. Use your Mac OS X name and password.
If this doesn't work, ftp is a little bit more reliable on the Windows side. Open any explorer window and type:
ftp://your.ip.address.here
Then press return, dismiss the error, go to the File menu and hit "login as..." and log in. YOur home folder will pop up.
