Maybe... look at the house you are buying and get the realator to fix the problems in the house before buying it?

    Who watches TV anyways?

The shower basin thingy was leaky in 'our' house. It leaked through my ceiling until it came down in a sticky shower of plaster and reed. Yes. My ceiling is made of plaster and reeds (the thick kind, like you thatch roofs with).

We moved into our house two years ago, and still have a garage full of shit to unpack.

That's what moving is for - throwing away shit you didn't need after the last move.

Did you do more then take a three minute walkthrough of the house and go "well, it looks great! where do I sign?"

Because stuff like the fridge not working is easy to spot if you spent even 10 minutes going through the house.

Maybe the fridge broke during the three weeks he's already been there.

Possible. But it seems like he can just call the people he bought the house from and say"i have all these problems, fix them."

yup it did, but they said theyd fix them so its not too bad just means were without some useful technology for a few days, still a bugger tho.

Last time I moved, I drove 600 miles with a u-haul hooked to the back of an SUV.

    Had no problems.

Got there, put my shit in my apartment. Went and got something to eat.

Driving an SUV with a big ass trailor on the back in Chicago traffic wasn't much fun.

    All good other than that.

Your friends cracked the code along time ago. This is why they always roll their eyes when you talk about going back to your place to play some Atari on your own.

Wheelie bins are great because your friends put you in them upside down when you are drunk and then you panic and start to cry because they are full of rubbish and oh god I think there was a rat in there.

You havent caught it until you've been in a kitchenette.

Food processor seems an awfully generic name. I process food, do I get to stay in the kitchen?

    What?

I played CS with a couple of Brits, one most notably named funkymp - he was a knifing ninja, and always gave a very happy "Cheers mate!" over the comm with every successful knife kill. Always cracked me up.

    Useless anecdote.
