Apologies for what's probably a stupid question, but am I going to be able to get TF2 + Episode 2 + Portal seperately, or do they only come in the Orange Box and other packs?
You can buy them separately but HL2: Ep2 is thirty bucks, TF2 is thirty bucks, and Portal is twenty bucks. Orange box is of course fifty dollars and includes HL2 and HL2: Ep1.
Edit: I read the store page wrong, apparently they aren't available separately.

So far they're only available in Orange Box, Valve Complete Pack and Source Premiere Pack, and not available seperately.
If you search for TF2 on Steam, it comes up in the lists as being $29.95. It's only when you click on it that you just get the in pack options (all of which are priced higher). Same for Portal ($19.95) and Episode 2 ($29.95). Of course, if they're going to be that price, it's still cheaper to get the OB.
Am I missing something to do with peggle? It seems OK, and a decent game to play if you've got 5 minutes to spare, but I don't see why everyone's raving about it. It's a bit like pinball / pool and it's fun, but I wouldn't say it's that good.

Peggle is allllllllllllllllll about getting that last orange peg.
So I'm trying to think of a reason for why valve needs to wait any longer to unlock TF2.
I've come to the conclusion that they hate us.
I heard they are ironing out some bugs with the ability for player's to host servers.
I have no idea if this is truth or fiction, however.
Valve has to set a specific time so that all of their content hosts know exactly when the incoming doom will strike. Valve can't just go "uhh... how about now."
Given that they have to set a specific time, which sounds better to you as a Valve employee.
Midnight, meaning you'll have to stay at work REALLY damn late, and then if someone goes a'splode, you have to stay even longer.
Or
Middle of the day: you have time to make sure everything is ready, and you won't be staying at work too much later past your normal schedule if something goes wrong.

Hoping to get in on the fun.
Can not wait till this gets unlocked.
So they finally got the friends and comunity thing going. This should be fun for GAME-ON sessions. I was hoping to wake up to TF2 though.

Damn it's going to be Tuesday in 2 hours (in Korea) and still no beta. I hate being on the other side of the planet from the developers.

HEY NUBCAKES! Join the PA chat and ask for an invite instead of smearing the thread with your poop!
And the chat people will tell you to go ask on the boards because they are lazy.
They better hope I'm too lazy to kick people.
