Help With Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

Hey I just got a new Acer laptop with a dvd-rom so I bought Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. But after nearly 3 hours of waiting to play it, it now says in a box marked "Fatal error" "ERRO6: Unsupported pixel shader version detected. 2.0." and it won't let me play. Any ideas on how to fix it?
