So, I am a huge addict of SoBe Green Teas. I drink at least one per day, sometimes more. They are delicious, and supposedly healthy.
Then, I read the label: 56 grams of sugar per bottle! WTF? That's a shit-ton of sugar. I am now moving to home-brewed tea (although I'll still indulge occasionally, I'm sure).
So, what are your favorite non-alcoholic indulging beverages? Coke? Pepsi? Which is better?
Also, you ever drank anything that you thought was healthy for you, only to find out it wasn't? Now I know how a 1920's smoker felt...
I drink a lot of milk. About a gallon a day probably. Good ole vitamin D milk, sometimes i add chocolate sauce. Then i might go through a gallon and a half.

I hope thats skim milk, otherwise... I mean, there is a LOT of saturated fat in regular milk. A LOT.

and unsweetened teas without milk in (peppermint, green teas especially)
I do have fruit juice/smoothies (never from concentrate, never anything added) and chocolate soya milk, but I count the calories in those and only drink them as part of a meal.

Do you also count grapes and east raisin skins, steamed?

No I just keep my drinks vice-free because I my food
I've been pretty good on the food front, fresh veg, protein-rich meat, I've switched to brown rice instead of white, etc., but I can never, ever completely give up chocolate

Every other day, instead of buying lunch, I'll buy a fruit smoothie. I usually get the strawberry banana fruit smoothie thingie. Its advertised as having 92 calories, so it ain't bad. Plus it is delicious.
Speaking of smoothies, I occasionally go in for Booster Juice. good stuff there.
I've never had a Booster Juice despite the fact that I walk by one every day simply because that place intimidates the shit out of me. There is way too fucking much to choose from. What if I choose poorly?

You get castrated.
That seems like a self-defeating business mission for a place that exists to promote healthy living.

Any time I go to a new food/drink place, I look up at the menu and as soon as I look at it, someone says "what can I get you" and i go "uhhhh uhhhh this" and then I get something I don't really want because I fall under pressure
The worst thing about baking a cake is that you know that you've just weighed out 4 oz of sugar and 4 oz of fat (if this is a regular sponge) and that it has all gone into that cake.

Dr Pepper is pretty expensive here though.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
Steam
Sometimes I drink sobe life water, as I can get it on my university's meal plan.
or did you no notice how sweet the tea is?
I don't understand the question.
I knew it was sweetened, just not THAT sweetened. I expected some sugar, but 53 grams is ridiculous. I guess I'm just unobservant.
Wasn't there a video game show on TNT that got canceled after they made fun of Sobe (their sponsor)?
They're pretty tasty, especially homemade.
Those are the only three beverages I need.
Sobe has way too much sugar in it.
You should probably figure out a way to turn the red bull into an iv drip.

genmacha (sp?) > most teas
I should write them and ask for corporate sponsorship.
I've finally cut down to one a day.

Hell yes it is. I also enjoy a good english breakfast, or southern black.
But fuck chai. Chai tea is awful.
Do you also count grapes and east raisin skins, steamed?
Maybe you should just start eating the guarana?

Homemade chai is good. I never drink chai that you can buy. Except Bolthouse Farms Vanilla Chai soy drink. That's pretty decent.
I hope you boil it first, or maybe add a few drops of iodine to purify it. That stuff just isn't good for you. It's rife with diseases.
You might get aids though...
It is an innocent smoothie of course because innocent are awesome
19 pressed grapes
10 crushed strawberries
1/2 a mashed banana
orange juice
a squeeze of lemon

i'm too cheap to buy anything else
well, vodka, too
I've never had a chai that I liked. It always has something about it that's just wrong for my tastebuds.
holy fuck have you seen how much that is
