Using the 18 games listed in the signup thread as data, I came up with some interesting (?) information. There were 787 players (184 actual people) in my survey.

Old stats
I figured that this data could be used to have some sort of friendly competition scoreboard. My original thought was 10 points for a good win, 25 points for a monster win, and -5 points for a loss, but I'm open to suggestions. I already think it gives too many points to winning monsters.
Here would be the top 30 using that formula:
90 DevoutlyApathetic
75 Zerinan
75 Buzz Buzz
70 Grundlterror
65 Threelemmings
60 Marx
60 Rygar
60 frandelgearslip
60 Frosteey
60 Squashua
60 TehSpectre
55 Ardor
55 Variable
45 cheez
45 Hakkekage
45 Malkor
45 Balefuego
40 robothero
40 Kilnaga
40 MrBlarney
35 precisionk
35 Grid System
35 Plutonium
35 Locus
35 Drez
30 Bliss 101
30 Lignisse
30 Serpent
30 MrBallBaggins
30 AcidSerra

I've missed so much
9 Bloody times though. Geez.
Zodiac, SS13, Gnome, Salem, Ad Astra come to mind
oh wait, d&d
But you're not even on there...
Ehehehe.
I have a bunch of D&D games as well.
Hm. It seems playing more games = less score.
Also, there should be a list for those who are on all 3 useless lists. (I'm the only one! Ha-ha.)
Edit: Where is the "games played" list? I can never remember how many I have been in. (Pretty much every game.)
I've only been in four. Also, I seem to be teamed up with Squashua in some way usually.
Councilors: I'm evil with Squashua.
Space Station: Me and Squashua where both religious and where apart of the network. I guess this doesn't really count though.
Vampire the Masquerade: Nothing here.
DDS: We where both in Embryon.
At least I think thats how it went.
In fact, I think me and precisionk where teamed up twice too.
Wait, no, you played all 18. I made a typo in one of the formulas.
(+3/5 of D&D, 1 of whatever in SE++)
Do you know, for SE, I am actually a veteran?
That's some crazy stuff. And I still haven't figured out how I'd like to play the game really.
I've never been in a D&D game though, and I am told that those are where the real game is at?
10 for good win, -5 for loss, 25 for bad win.
1. Locus (Through The Greatwood) - Good Victory (+10)
2. Bliss101 (French Revolution) - Evil Victory ( -5)
3. Buzz Buzz (BANG!) - Evil Victory (-5)
4. Last Son (super-alliances) - Good Victory (+10)
5. thorgot (Democratic File System) - Good Victory (+10)
6. FunkyWaltDogg (Space Station 13) - Evil Victory (-5)
7. DarkPrimus (The Court of King Phallis) (Good Victory Basically impossible for evil to win (-5)
8. precisionk (Insane Asylum) -Evil Victory ( +25)
9. Saburbia (Haunted House) - Good Victory I still think somebody cheated this game.(-5)
10. PsychoLarry (Comic Book Style) - Good Victory (+10)
11. Hylianbunny (The Zodiac Phalla Story) - Good Victory Can't be counted effectively using your formula because of the Goltana/Larg/Zodiac and their multiple winning conditions.(-5)
12. Gnasty (The Kingdom of Phalla vol. 1: The Caves of Phalla) - Neutral Victory (-5)
13. EvilBadman (Phallanoia) (35-40) Good Victory More like a fun game for people to settle grudges.(+10)
14. CJ Iwakura (Vampire: Masquerade) Good VictoryI think I deserve cool points for the events of this game. (-5)
15. Rygar (Space Phalla) (50) - Good Victory (+10)
16. RBB and VH (Soviet Phalla) - Evil Victory (-5)
17. ElJeffe (Phalliad) Good Victory (+10)
18. Visiblehowl (Kingdoms of Phallacia) Didn't Play (+0)
Anyways, strictly using your formula, I should have a score of 50.
Though statistics are a good idea, you can't really base a player's skill on it, because not all games are the same or evenly balanced. Also, you don't count neutrals, split up goods/evils/neutrals, or neutral victories.
Sammy Sosa's been on the Chicago Cubs for years - who hasn't won anything. That doesn't mean he's a bad player though.
Why not? Half the good guys didn't win, but it was a fairly straightforward game.
If you're talking about serial killers, which are not at all neutral, I do have a special way of counting them. Only one person has won as a serial killer (TehSpectre in Caves), so I don't think it is a big deal. I just counted them as monsters.
If you're talking about true neutrals, I dealt with them, too. I took at a look at their objective, which usually included survival, and gave them a win (10) or a loss (-5), depending on if they won or not. I just didn't mention it, because this role very rarely exists.
I agree. Which is why this is just for fun. This isn't some important poll which will determine which Phalla bowl game you will get into.
Edit: The "We Win" threw me off. In retrospect, the whole first half of the game was a just a grudge-settler instead of a strategy session, and I really didn't pay attention to it.
Currently my standing is at -5, but pending the results of running phallas it could vary wildly. Of course I never live until the end.
If you have a "kill everyone in the game and be the last survivor" role, you should get more than 25 points.
I had to do some serious trickery to pull that baby off.
Technically, half the bad guys also won, because they had the option of a faction victory or a zodiac victory.
I guess I'll give Gnasty, Grundlterror, and TehSpectre wins as good guys, and mark them as monsters. I did something similar for Rygar (who got converted in Phallanoia).
That's incredibly tough to figure on a case-by-case basis. For example, you had a lot of invulnerability that nobody would've figured out how to get around. When RBB and I were neutrals that couldn't die unless we died together, same thing.
Now, compare that to Oboro or Plutonium and GrimmyTOA in V:tM where they could die like anyone else very easily.
For a while, most games had mechanics that, if used properly, would increase the chance of a village victory significantly too. So this is more of a tally of interest, just out of curiosity I would imagine. Mostly it's probably Thorgot telling everyone who needs to die because they win a lot.
Good guy victory (+10 points). You die on day 4 in a 10 day Phalla so your points for that game would be +4.
The same would be applied to the negative points for losses. In fact, if you don't take contribution time into account, giving negative points for losses seems to be entirely pointless: you might as well change the win points to 15 for good guys and 30 for bad guys for the exact same result.
Specials have a big impact on the game. I'd multiply the points (both positive and negative) of seers, vigs and guardians by at least 1.5 or 2.
Also, I have so been good at least 12 times, if you count mini-Phallas and D&D. My bad to good ratio is 1:Howevermany
NNID: Hakkekage
I need to be more of a cypher, like cheez.
Like for my first phalla here (Bang!), I was a reserve who was put into the game on Day 4, and ended up dying day 5.
I have to say the key to my success has always been not being on your team. We were decimated in Tux's D&D game in like three days.
