Bladder Infection?

Starting this morning, my girlfriend has had a constant urge to pee, but can't. This is exactly how she felt the last time she had a bladder infection. However, this time around, every half hour or so, the urge will get very bad, and when she goes to the bathroom...she pees just like normal. Assuming it is a bladder infection, she will need to see a doc, so she is making an appointment tomorrow. But does this sound like a bladder infection to anyone else? If not, any other ideas? Thanks.
