No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn

Alright, so, two weeks ago I moved to Brooklyn, NY. Williamsburg, to be exact. On South 3rd street, between Berry and Wythe, right near the East River.

This was facilitated by a university transfer from the University of Connecticut (hella rural) to Long Island University (super-urban). With school and work and all, my weekly schedule is pretty packed, but during the weekends, I find myself with little to do but study and play R6: Vegas.

So, to you, PA, what are some of the hot spots I should check out in this great city? More importantly, how do I meet people, which seems to be my biggest hurdle?

Relevant info: under 20, like indie music, not a scenster, pretty geeky, can be charming, but has difficulty with introductions
