where is F-Zero WiiX?

so im playing f-zero gx earlier today and im thinking to myself, "damn, they need to make another f-zero for wii."

i googled and havent seen any announcements for a new game in the series. did gx sell well enough for them to consider a sequel? am i alone in my cravings for another brutally high-speed futuristic racer? will captain falcon's golden nipples get a waggle-based purple nurple mini game?

Fzero GX sold like crap at first, but maintained a steady stream of sales to the point that it became a Player's Choice game.


As far as the Wii, I think Nintendo should hold off on another good franchise game for a while until the momentum of Metroid, Galaxy, Brawl, and Mario Kart wears down.


I'd be all for a Wii FZero though. In fact, I'd be surprised if they don't eventually come out with one.

Hell yes. It's not a real Nintendo console until it has F-Zero on it.

Nintendo's one franchise that can always be relied on to kick me square in the head. Love them games.

If a nintendo console doesn't have a mario, zelda, metroid, f-zero, starfox, kirby, donkey kong, fire emblem, mario kart, mario golf, pokemon, pikmin, animal crossing, and smash brothers on it within the first 12 months, then it's a failure.

Nintendo should just buy Amusement Vision and turn it into the next RARE/Retro.

I love GX, but i know i will die without ever finishing the story mode on the higest difficulty.

I loved F-Zero GX to death even if it is the game I got most angry at. And man it takes a lot to make me angry at a game. In fact I think only F-Zero GX and Stuntman ever truly pissed me off. Good times.

i dunno, i think f-zero and mario kart are so different that neither one would dip into eachothers sales.

GX is still my favorite racing game ever. I sure hope they get Amusement Vision to do it again, because gosh damn was it brilliant on the cube/arcade-jumpy-turny-shakey machine. And it was bonerpants hard, but ohso good. I need to go play it now.
