Mac Issues - No Video

I has a MacBook. Not the Pro, the regular. Maybe even the noob. Running 10.4.9 or 10.4.10. Dunno if I updated it or not. Running the latest version of FireFox. This happens both in FireFox and in Safari.
Basically, video from GameVideos.com and GameTrailers.com won't play. It just never loads up. On GameTrailers.com the advertisement before the video will play, but it will never load up the video itself. Often times it won't even load up the Play button either.
Most other embedded video does work. YouTube, Google Video, etc.
Maybe just using an older version of Flash? Never got the prompt to update it or anything.
