alright so I've been experimenting with hand drawn images on live backgrounds and this is one of the first images I've put together.
also I've been skulking around the board but this is my first post. so hello.

my friends and I tend to get in debates about what should be done about the whole border issue and during these debates we tend to crank out a lot of weird ideas, this one being one of the funnier ones.

uh before the torches and pitch forks come out I should mention that I am myself of Hispanic descent being a first gen american in the family.

I don't think the realistic background is working... If it was more like a matte painting, maybe...

I have to agree with the others. At this stage in the game, you're idea just isn't working. It has potential, but i think you'll need more practice before it looks convincing enough to be able to pull it off.

So is it... God killing dragon, like "Hey, there's God, and he's killing that dragon!" or is it more like "I'm a dragon that kills gods."

Either way, your idea doesn't work. Try putting a neat photoshop filter on the bg to cartoon it up.

I'm not a fan of using photographic backgrounds in cartoons. It just looks tacky and lazy. I would suggest drawing your backgrounds.
