Is he working on anything of interest since the whole PS vs. SOE Fiasco??

    Dave Georgeson was the producer/designer of Planetside and Tribes 2. AKA "Smokejumper." Google reveals nothing about what he's currently doing. His departure from Planetside was quite sudden and AFAIK not on good terms with SOE.

    Plus he left the game in a huge mess that alienated most of the remaining playerbase and sent it into a slow death spiral, but that's my biased opinion.

    I figure he got a bit ambushed by walking halfway through sony's hype machine and had to turn it into some kind of product.

    I think he was the star player at Dynamix... I hope he hasn't left the gaming community.....

    he pretty much got ambushed in the forums halfway through planetside development didnt he, as he was going by a different name and someone called him out for tribes 2....... and then thats when everyone was noticing that the beta had the exact same issues as tribes 2 retail had and really jumped him (read mic support, and I think other stuff?)

    I feel like hes pretty much admitted (although it probably wasnt his fault) to the problems from Tribes 2 and Planetside.....

    Not to be negative/ignorant, but what good has this guy done that warrants not wanting him to leave the dev community?
