So I like to write. Unfortunetly for me, I'm one of those people that only feels comfortable writing on the computer. I tried doing it in a journal or notepad and just get a writer's block, as opposed to on a computer where I feel I write better.
So anyways, at work it has slowed down so much that by around the four hour mark, I'm taking maybe four calls an hour. I'm figuring this would be the perfect time to continue writing. The problem is that because our work computers won't accept any kind of external device, I can't take my writing from home to work and vice versa. So far what I been doing is taking chunks of what I'm writing, copying in the draft option of yahoo mail, and then taking it out at work and continuing writing there. I don't like it because when I copy it, it takes out all my space breaks. Anyone have any better alternatives?
I doubt it will work but you could try using "logmein" or Remote Desktop.
Other than that, assuming you have access to the internet outside of your e-mail, you could always try posting your writing on a blog which you'll be able to reach from home or from work.
i don't understand why you couldn't just keep emailing yourself the document from work, and open up and continue at home, then email it back to yourself again and open and continue at work etc etc?
