So one of my roomies has been complaining of the heat in the house since Weds. of last week. I hadn't noticed anything, really, and had been just content.
Until today.
Today the machine broke down. I was working on my law school application at my desk, when I noticed that I was sweating. I was in shorts and a T-shirt, and I don't usually sweat. I check the thermostat and it's a nice 83 degrees. Combined with the rain, it's hot as hell and humid as fuck in here.
Trying to sleep tonight is going to be fun, let me tell you.

i was also in a basement
my window was on the ground, i open it for 2 seconds and 900 spiders and 12000 ants and other bugs
it stayed a nice 100 degrees at the lowest

Lived that way for 2 weeks.
so basically some dude took two temperature readings almost 300 years ago of completely unrelated things and assigned them 0º and 96º and that's what it's based on.

I've lived in a room out in the boonies a few years ago where it was 92 degrees at night, AC did not exist anywhere in this place.
It's 84 degrees in here right now.
If it hadn't rained, it would be a hell of a lot hotter but a hell of a lot less humid.
I like the temp to be around 70-72, personally. It's just hot, stale, and humid right now.
