My 10yo daughter and I are trying to get our Jam Session on with "My Belruel"... I sat down and had her listen to the MP3 with the lyrics up and explained what everything meant so she could picture it.
We found the base notes he used...
Am | Dm | Gm
F | | A#
F7m| C | C7
But I'm not sure what his alternate chords are...
Where's a music sheet? We want to play and sing this song. I think it would sound pretty if my daughter sang it.
I still don't understand what the completely random shilling for your personal blog/website/pictures of your 10 year old daughter is doing here, but as I did in the other thread, I'll give this much:
Your chords are wrong. The entire song is pretty much just 4 chords. Over and over and over again. Sometimes the E isn't given as the dominant to the A, but the vocal line wouldn't interfere with it, so even if you do go to the E, it'll sound fine.
A | E | DM7/A(x00222) | F#m E
As far as I can tell. I might try it again when I get home and actually have access to instruments, but that seems right. The only minor chord is the F# minor(244222)
