That, or a similar idea was floating around Newsarama around the time Countdown started.

I actually recently completed my run of Extreme Justice issues and read through the whole thing over the course of a day or two, so that whole thing's fresh in my mind.

Sars, you win so hard right now. Why can't we have nice things like that anymore DC? Why?

That was totally awesome. What was that, Young Justice 42? I'm gonna try and find that issue, just so I can look at that scene.

Now I know I read somewhere that Captain Atom isn't Captain Adams at all. The explanation I read is that during the accident that made Captain Atom, some energy duplicate thing was made (damn I wish I could remember where I read it). Adams got trapped in stasis all this time in another dimension or something and Atom thought he was the original since he had all the same memories. Then he find out he's a duplicate and goes evil twin.

I know I read that somewhere, probably newsarama.

I loved Stark's D: expressions in his Iron Man suits.

Are we done shitting all over the moments thread?

You know what'd be awesome? More great moments! My moments are months old, because I finally found a compiled hardcover for Planet Hulk, but surely there's more going on this week than bitching at each other?

Some that weren't listed already by me in the thread or that I didn't see others mention include:
    - Green Arrow Year One where they make a joke about how he's come back from the dead several times and he's going to make a habit of it. Thought it played well with last week's Wedding.

    - Supergirl and Wonder Girl making fun of the overuse of zombies in comics.

    - Robin's gun to the head cliffhanger

    - Blue Beetle goodness with gigantism porn references and a dig at science based growth heroes like Hank Pym

All those and the rest, like Iron Fist's defeat, John Stewart's goatee talk with Black Lightning, Slapstick, the goddamn Batman and bunch more are scanned on my blog. It's pure site whoring, but I've put up all the scans of my moments of the week at my blog here. Id just post the images here, but I'm too lazy to hotlink every single one (like 15 or so of them).

I've never seen that before. Now I know where Joss and Cassaday got the Kitty Pryde scene from Astonishing from.

There's a point in the Dark Phoenix Saga where one issue ends with Nightcrawler saying "Cyclops! He's not breathing!" and then on the next page is first page of the next issue which starts with Nightcrawler saying "Cyclops! He's alive!" or something to that effect. Best cliffhanger/resolution ever.

I enjoyed all of Initiative again as usual. This is probably my most looked forward to book every month next to Thor. This fill in artist should stick around just to draw Slapstick, I hate the normal artist's interpretation of him.

And I'm so glad I started getting Iron Fist last month. Sooo good.

The fill-in artist should draw Slapstick and ONLY Slapstick. Everyone else looked ridiculous.

Iron Fist was pretty good, as expected.

Cannonball and Iceman visited my hometown, sunny Flint, Michigan this week, too. I don't really know why they picked that location, but it's cool nonetheless.

Speaking of Countdown to Adventure..I thought this was pretty funny and got my "extreme close up of face punching" of the week.

I'm just glad they decided to do something with Animal Man after 52. :^::^:

And theres something about Starfire in regular clothing...

    Rrow.

Sars...get over it. Don't try it. Christ almighty.

that punch actually wouldn't hurt at all the way it's being delivered. hitting with your far two knuckles is a good way to break your hand too.

Yes. The President has declared all comic book art must now be photo realistic. Because of this poast.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that picture. Actually, my precise thought was, "I guess that sound effect is for the puncher's hand breaking, and the next panel will show him holding his busted hand."
