So I'm looking for a site, or sites, that show me the sales figures for the following things...Video games, movies (Theater numbers and dvd) and comic books. Any help would be appreciated.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/ might be what you want for theater sales.

Even though I'm hesitant to suggest it, www.vgchartz.com do ESTIMATES for video game and console sales. As for official numbers, NPD numbers for US sales are done once a month and are usually posted to the forums. Japanese sales are posted weekly at several sites *including this one* as well. Look for 'Media Create' numbers.

***bolded to emphasize these are estimates only, but if you want numbers on a quicker basis about your only source.***

I believe vgchartz.com computes their numbers on estimates and then when NPD and MC numbers come out they change it those so if your looking for older stuff its more likely to be accurate.

Yes, they do go back and correct their numbers AND they gather info like the NPD does, just on a smaller scale.

Just wanted to make clear their weekly numbers are not 100% accurate *not that NPD's numbers are either since they do leave out some major retailers and have to estimate those*.
