I bought a JENSEN voltage converter that converts 220-240 Volt AC to 110-120 Volt AC in America at Best Buy before I went to London, and now I'm here at my flat and I plugged in my power cord after plugging in the voltage converter, but it doesn't seem to work the with the 360. The power battery has an orange light, which is "standby", and when I plug it into the 360 and turn it on a red ring shows up on around the power light. I'm pretty sure this isn't the Red Ring of Death though, because I've had it happen to me before when my power wasn't working correctly.
Do I have the wrong voltage converter? Is my 360 in danger?

I don't have my 360 here at the moment, but take a look at the power supply and see what input voltages are allowed. Many computers (laptops especially) have auto-switching power supplies that can take 110/120 or 220/240. You may only need a plug adapter rather than a transformer.
I'd try what Frylock says, this is what I do when I go country-hopping. That huge power brick on the 360 will most likely work all the way to 240V, but I've known American hardware to be especially dicky over that stuff.

You are in London with an Xbox 360 from the US?
