from a hotel lobby in Chicago. In an hour I go to MEPS for my final physical and then I hop on a plane for San Antonio. Then I begin Air Force basic training. Who else is in the military?

    the air force tried to recruit me so hard in high school, and they still call about once a month. i considered it, but decided i like drawing pretty things better.

    I almost joined the Army or Navy but then I was like "well, shit, you have bad knees" so I kinda couldn't.

    Yeah, they almost didn't let me in because I have a surgical pin in my wrist, but I proved that it did not impede my movement and they said ok.

    some basic military training used to be kind of mandatory here a long while ago

    Then it stopped being mandatory

    They asked if I wanted in a few years ago, sent me a CD and everything. I said no. That is all.

    Apparently being able to duck walk is extremely important to a modern military's fighting capability.

    I mean, its not like my knees wouldn't have worn out after a few weeks hard marching anyway but the thing they cited me when I did a quick physical test at the highschool was not being able to duck walk.

    I never do that. Mainly because I have a crapload of recorded lines and audio samples in my audio folder, so I just manually select songs that I want. I have most of it organized in separate folders anyway.

    the school I go to has a Career Services department with a thing for hooking up graduates with some contracting job with the Air Force

    don't know what the deal with that is, but I probably wouldn't mind being a civilian worker for them

    except I wouldn't keep my damn mouth shut
