Well, since you've played it a lot before like Mario World, it don't seem like you'll be having trouble doing that challenge run. Although I could see it being entertaining.
Pssst, you could give yourself a challenge and play some Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts. 8-)
I can't even beat the PSP Ghosts 'N Goblins, there's no way I could beat the old games.
The X1 run would probably still be hard for me though because I always just grab powerups as soon as possible and I still use 3 or 4 energy tanks on sigma. I haven't even fought his wolf for real in like 8 years because I always just hadouken it. However I might end up not doing anything and I'll just keep going with this until it's done.

Yeah after the DKC series let's plays are done Gilder should move on to exclusively playing awful platformers that people remember from their childhood. After pink panther he should try the nes jetsons game, I remember hating that as a kid.

Though I love watching Gilder suffer as much as the next guy, he should at least get to suffer through a hard good game, rather than a hard shitty game. A little sugar to help the cyanide go down, if you will.

I did something similar with Ren & Stimpy's Veediots while messing around at the title screen. I activated a code that dumped me in the level with Stimpy falling down a shaft and fluttering to avoid stuff (very "Battletoad's-ish"). Because that level was one of the ones demonstrated while waiting at the title screen, I had no idea it was doing anything special until it had already killed Stimpy. FU*K (that level was hard to get to).

It sucks too because I really want to see how Sonic CD plays out. I've never really played it. I'm sure he'll update the thread soon though.
Also guys I just finished recording world 5 and it did the same thing as last time that ended up screwing up the video but this time it actually did work so we're good to go. I was recording it today so that in case it did screw up, I'd have some time to cool down before trying to re-record. For some reason though the video screwed up the background of the boss so that looks really weird. It looked fine when I was playing though. You see the kongs and the boss itself fine, it's just the background is kind of chopped up. Oh well.
Also if the video ever screws up like that one time again, I think it'll be due to the filesize being so large. In that case what I'll do is re-record the world all at once but I'll stop the video after 2 levels and then make a new one for the next 2 and so on until the world is done. That way instead of one gigantic video, I'll have 3 smaller ones.
Alright guys, Ohtsam says he has a lot of work to do on his world 4 video with getting stuff synched so today we're going to be blessed with my world 4 video. Normally I wouldn't mind waiting an extra day but honestly, I want to get this video out of the way. It's not my crowning achievement and I'd rather this get out of the way so you can all look forward to world 5 which is much better. World 4 is compressing right now and then I'll upload it so expect the thing tonight.
Well I'm still going to post mine since Ohtsam is having trouble but even after compressing, the filesize only shrank by about 200 MB so it's only just now about to finish uploading. Then it'll process for a bit. And it's only 10 p.m. for me so we're not past midnight yet!

I thought of that too. Then I realized that you guys would hate watching me play.
