Tintin is awesome, you guys. Is anyone else here familiar with Tintin?

He's a dapper young lad and clever detective, with an array of interesting friends and his pal, snowy.

tintin.gif

Tintin goes on awesome adventures all over the world, shooting nazis and soviets and bedouin natives and solving crimes. He usually brings his pal, Captain Haddock along, who may well be my hero-

captain_haddock.gif

Tintin is fucking sweet, and Captain Haddock is an awesome drunken mariner. He likes to insult people and drink whiskey.

How do you fuckers feel about Tintin?!

Tintin is dated horribley by it's blatant racism.

I did love him as a kid though.

I never really cared for Tintin. Asterix and Lucky Luke always took my comic reading time back in the days

I don't know from Tintin, but I went to this New Year's Eve party a couple of years ago and I met this nice Croatian man who, as the night progressed and we got more and more drunk, eventually decided to give me his Tintin tie. I have never worn it since, but I still have it. Apparently, Tintin is the shit in the Eastern Bloc.

Haddock was awesome, though I didn't particularly care for the rest of the cast. I loved Asterix and Lucky Luke comics though.

I loved Tintin as a kid, I still have a bunch of the old comics somewhere. The rocketship he took to the moon is the grooviest looking rocketship around:

My friend has a bathroom in her house that is entirely Tintin themed.

Wallpaper, towels, soaps, thoothbrushes, posters on the wall, little figurines... EVERYTHING.

It looks like a Tintin museum and a bathroom rolled into one!

How man times was Tintin chloroformed and gagged? As I remember, it was a lot. Probably a lot of rape was involved.

That's fucking awesome. I need to go visit everything like this before I die.

My brother went to china and came back with two tintin shirts. Evidently it's incredibly popular over there, and everyone fucking loves it.
