Nothing serious, but my computer will start up on its own whenever power is introduced. For example, if there's a storm and the power goes out for a while, when the power comes back on, the computer starts up. Or if I unplug the computer, it will turn on as soon as the plug re-enters the outlet.
Again, no serious issue. I've taken to just switching off the power supply when I'm done with it. But I'd just like some suggestions as to the root of this issue.
There should be an option in the BIOS called something like 'power interruption option' or similar. You can choose between it staying off or turning itself on when power is restored.
Under mine (Phoenix BIOS), it's the 'Power Management Setup' section from the main menu, and then you toggle the 'Restore on AC Power Loss' option towards the bottom. There's a pretty good chance you have a very similar setup.
