itunes crashing type-thing

So, everything was fine until a couple of days ago. Now when I open itunes it opens and then immediately closes again (with some thing coming up saying that itunes has unexpectedly closed and do I want to send an error report). I'm using the latest version (7.2.4 maybe?).

Anyone got any idea why this is happening? I'm stuck in student residences with no japan to fix it and no tunes to listen to while I try to read ancient Greek and it's killing me.

EDIT: I'm using an iBook G4 running the latest version of OS X

Did you update anything recently? Install anything new?

    Drivers/versions of anything?

The only thing I've done that is different is connect to my College's network, but I didn't have to install anything for that.

Something similar just happened to me today... I was just upgrading to the newest version. I did some cleaning up of my library before I did so.

I try syncing my ipod and when itunes starts up it tells me "itunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing"

Anyone got any clue as to why this happened?

Oh, and sorry to the OP, didn't mean to steal your thread. I'm just going to uninstall/reinstall.
