I'm like the worse medic in this game, ever. I have this awesome ability to uber a Heavy to push into CP just as he runs out of ammo. Consistantly.

Hah, that's one of my biggest concerns when I play Heavy... you have to remember to pick up ammo ALL THE TIME. You feel pretty stupid getting uber'd and then seeing you have like 30 rounds left. :|

I'm glad my new headset/mic will be arriving soon, because communication is so important to preventing mixups like that. Typing just doesn't cut it.

I usually make a point of asking a heavy to check his ammo before sending him around the corner to uber. It's teamwork.

man I love it when I'm a pyro or heavy, running to get some ammo from a dead enemy, but see some scout run over it to refill his two spent shells.

Or the pyro that holds down his fire button before a match starts and picks up the ammo box to refill and screws over the engineer that is trying to setup his shit. Dipshits.

we just had a pretty epic game on gravelpit. Sitting at the top of the tower on point C with an engineer and a nearly dead GSK as pyro with 30 seconds left. I wasn't sure whether I should use my newly acquired ubercharge then or wait a few seconds so we ensure that the point is held. Seeing that GSK is about to die I use and he after a few seconds he realizes it, runs down the tower and flames about 4 dudes itching to get up. Then an ubercharged heavy comes running up and gets on the point but it was tooooo late.

Fact: Demomen actually make a great offensive class.

I find it harder to play demoman as a defensive class, actually. On offense, they rule: indirect fire can make a CP defender's life really miserable, and a good spread of sticky bombs can tear apart fixed defenses like a shark through a steak. Then you turn around and lay down another spread of sticky bombs as the defenders come rushing in to stop you from capping the CP and watch them cry as they all blow up. Then the spy you didn't notice stabs you in the back and your teammates, who are all snipers, just sit around trying to get headshots on scouts as the arrow slowly disappears.

Public servers are so much fun.

If you see your trailing medic has an Uber ready, don't wait for him to activate it. Charge in FIRST, take a few hits. If the medic hits Uber before you enter combat, you waste a good 2-5 seconds of it. Go ahead and charge in, and let him hit it once you're in the thick of it. You'll get full use of the Uber that way.

This is what I need people to do because I lack a mic. Don't worry because if I'm healing you I'm paying attention.

I try to do this as well, independent of which side of the uber I'm on.
But, like anything you run a risk when you do this. About 10% of the time (as a medic) my target either takes a sniper shot to the head (at least I still got the uber); or, I get a knife to the spinal cortex. You win some, you lose some.

The post above makes NO sense.

    Proc?

    MMO term.

Crits have a small percentage of occurrence which increases depending on your "momentum."

Snipers have a "crit meter" when zoomed in and all their zoomed in headshots count as crits.

What is up gentlemen, I have been beating you people handily at this fine game since I first started on your delightful servers. Iowa is the only person who can consistently dominate me, and vice versa. Incidentally, does anyone else ever see their sentry guns just track an enemy player and not fire upon them? It seems to be a problem.
Also, on that note, does anyone know of any really good positions to put your sentry guns so as to maximise their effectiveness in the various maps of team fortress 2? Much obliged.

Maximise is the british spelling. I was trying to be british.

In any case, I was having a bit of a lark, not trying to "show you up". Here's a protip from someone studying psychology...don't post like that here. You will spend so much time defending the first post with "God guys, I was just being lazy." that you would have been better off just taking the time for proper punctuation and grammar in the first place.
You don't have to be perfect at it, but you do have to at least make an attempt.

See...I've tried to do this several times. I look at the medic's meter as he's healing me and I notice he's at 100%. I then start running in because I know this medic's been healing me and only me for some time now. So I charge in...expect an uber...and nothing happens and I die. The medic either didn't follow me, or didn't recognize he had an uber. I even announce this shit over my mic and it still happens. I mean, if you're going to -not- uber me after you've been healing me for a while and there's noone (read: Heavies) else around, then tell me, because if we've been pushing for the last several minutes and I notice you have an uber, I'm going to figure you're on the ball and we're going to push.
