The A.I. really makes this game. The dialogue is brilliant. This now takes a place in one of my favorite games ever :P.

Also, best credits to any game ever.

I totally went into this game thinking that it was going to be a light-hearted romp through some puzzle-based levels.
Which is probably why it was got really disturbing when you started to discover the secret passageways (With the writing and the blood) juxtaposed with the clean sterile environments of the levels. Game totally freaked me out and it was awesome. And after a day of beating both HL2: Eps 1 and 2, I could not put Portal down.

The companion cube speaks to you if you wait long enough. Pretty cool how they made a whole character out of a simple block.

Also did you guys see the power point presentation in one of the rooms where it shows the government proposals for funds? It shows Aperture science asking for like a shitload of money and getting practically nothing, while Black Mesa gets what it asked for.

OK, It's the music that plays when you learn about conservation of momentum (Level 10?). Also, the music after you get the orange portal is pretty awesome. (I think that's Level 11). I'll leave you techno-wizs to work your musical alchemy.

The bit where you have to 'jump' over a glass wall, through a force field. There's a little enclave to the left where I can get a load of speed, but I can't fire a portal through to the big wall in the main chamber to take advantage of it.
jump into the floor, pop out of the wall, and shoot a new portal into the floor. You'll pop out of the wall again, this time iwth enough force to get over the fence.
Well that's what I thought, but I can't even get enough momentum to clear the non-portable floor, so I can't create a second portal :/ I know I'm missing something really obvious and that's what makes it more annoying!
You ARE taking your first jump in the alcove, right?

Ok... I'm really missing something because I can't for the life of me figure out what any of you mean here. Can someone explain this really carefully please?
