internet explorer problems

I deleted some unkown objects in my internet explorer the other day and now some shit won't load properly. I'm unable to update my internet explorer 6.0 because I don't have an official XP. So do you reccomend mozzila fire fox, or was it something else?

    1) Get firefox and opera, see which one you like, both are better than IE

    2) You actually can get IE7 without passing WGA since earlier this week. Update it (as it gets used in lots of other apps, e.g. Steam) but still run Opera/Firefox
