The most important book in the history of literature came out today

The Bible? Written by retarded goat herders who wouldn't know the Messiah from a hole in the ground.

Comman Sense? Who the hell would read that thing, unless under threat of payne.

War and Peace? Boohoo Russians are killed by Napoleon.

But this

51TckeC-OYL._SS500_.jpg

This is everything that is good and right with the world. It even says America right there in the title, which automatically makes it better than books that do not have America in the title. Because America is better than where ever you are from.

America.

I am filled with happiness. That is what Colbert's face does to me.

Man, I really need to get that book. My ability to feel joy depends on it.

Barnes and Nobles had the book right next to the audiobook. When I saw that it was read by Colbert and had people from "Strangers with Candy" I had to pick it up too.

Which means I didn't get Red Skies over Red Seas.

I hope I made the right choice.

I bet it would be cool to read this while listening to the audiobook. Like having Stephen Colbert read his book to you.

Actually, if I had to choose between the two, I would almost take the audiobook over the actual book because you get Stephen Colbert's style of delivery, which makes it even funnier.

Yeah, you can buy it on iTunes as well.

Edit: I just noticed the joke at the very top of the cover :)

The author back flap is the greatest thing ever.

I am listening to it right now. I was expecting an hour long colbert report. I am slightly disappointed.

EDIT: Alright, 20 minutes in it gets funny and interesting again. I will have to listen to the whole thing before I pass judgment.

Today at work I was made a Muster Captain which entails that if there's a giant emergency on the construction site, I get a megaphone and a fancy hat and yell at people to move their asses to the emergency exits. This reeks of douchebaggery.
