The Bible? Written by retarded goat herders who wouldn't know the Messiah from a hole in the ground.
Comman Sense? Who the hell would read that thing, unless under threat of payne.
War and Peace? Boohoo Russians are killed by Napoleon.
But this
This is everything that is good and right with the world. It even says America right there in the title, which automatically makes it better than books that do not have America in the title. Because America is better than where ever you are from.

Barnes and Nobles had the book right next to the audiobook. When I saw that it was read by Colbert and had people from "Strangers with Candy" I had to pick it up too.
Which means I didn't get Red Skies over Red Seas.
I hope I made the right choice.

Colbert reads the audiobook!? I didn't even know there was an audio version.
I bet it would be cool to read this while listening to the audiobook. Like having Stephen Colbert read his book to you.
Actually, if I had to choose between the two, I would almost take the audiobook over the actual book because you get Stephen Colbert's style of delivery, which makes it even funnier.

The book was written by Stephen Colbert, Richard Dahm, Paul Dinello, Allison Silverman, Michael Grum, Eric Drysdale, Rob Dubbin, Glenn Eichler, Peter Gross, Peter Gwinn, Jay Katsir, Laura Krafft, Frank Lesser, and Tom Purcell.
Today at work I was made a Muster Captain which entails that if there's a giant emergency on the construction site, I get a megaphone and a fancy hat and yell at people to move their asses to the emergency exits. This reeks of douchebaggery.

Yeah, you can buy it on iTunes as well.
Edit: I just noticed the joke at the very top of the cover
The author back flap is the greatest thing ever.
"Stephen Colbert is America."
If, in my home country, I was not...
conscripted
abducted
displaced
diseased
starved
shot
stabbed
run over
imprisoned
robbed
exploited
...I would be able to justify why this offends me. But I was, so I can't, so I'll just have to suck it up. :x
I hope that teaches you to not be an American.
not in this thread, communist

The lack of horse meat really grinds my gears.
I'm officially over Stephen Colbert.
EDIT: Alright, 20 minutes in it gets funny and interesting again. I will have to listen to the whole thing before I pass judgment.
so does john stewart
I've been trying to reach you, but your extension cord doesn't reach that far.
