New DS colors/bundles on the way...

All I have to go on are a couple of SKU's with a brief description of some new DS bundles coming out soon.

One is a metalic rose DS bundled with a nintendogs game.

The other is a gold DS bundled with the new Legend of Zelda game.

I just thought I would share the info in case someone was about to buy a DS and would kick themselves later when these go on sale. Sorry I have no pics, I just saw the new Sku's (UPC's) at work today.

I mean, I own a white DS, though. Is there some way I can convince myself I need another? Maybe I could tell myself that my girlfriend keeps borrowing mine for sudoku, and so it's perfectly reasonable, or something?

Does the 360 play DS games? Not last I checked (not until Microsoft buys Nintendo in 5 years or so, at least).
Is the 360 gold and probably emblazoned with a Triforce? Nope, still green and orange if you want some sort of colors.

I think the choice is clear.

I'm going to pretend that I'm not personally on my fourth DS for cosmetic reasons (silver -> red&silver -> black lite -> crimson&black lite) and disagree.

Put the money towards a 360, and open yourself up to more game possibilities.

And AFTERWARDS, save up for a gold DS

God damn it I just bougt a DS Lite this week. See I got a new job where I felt I kind of needed it, that was the kind of flimsy justification I was looking for.

Mind you, since I already own Zelda I would not be interested in a bundle. I guess that stands in stark contrast to people who would buy it for the sheer vanity of a superficial cosmetic change, but that is how I roll.

I have one thats a bit worn. Starlight gold. Its a very nice color. I would honestly be tempted on buying another one if it is that color.

Hmm, I've actually been considering buying a DS lately, and this might be a good reason, since I've been waiting for a new bundle that comes with a game that I would be interested in, i.e. Zelda. Might have to save up for this.
