It's that time of the year, again.
You will signup, as good little boys and girls do, and send your addresses to me. Trust, me I will not make you all send gifts to me, and make out like a bandit. I promise. Really, I do.
And now for rules, and general guidelines.
1: People I don't know, nubs, and those who didn't send shit out last year will be rejected. It's just how it is.
2: Don't bitch because you don't like the gift you got. That's lame.
3: Things you are not allowed to give: Yourself, anything belonging to your biological self, or anybody else's biological self. Yeah, I think that will cover it. I'm not gonna put any kind of spending floor, here, because that would be lame. Get whatever you think is cool. Also, there isn't a ceiling either.
4: Don't send me a PM with your address until I tell you to (or add your name to the list in the OP).
5: The pairings will be random, but I'll try to rematch if someone gets the same person they got the year before. And don't ask me to be paired with anybody. I won't do it, I tell you. Not for nothing.
6: Tell me if you are/aren't down with international shipping. I hear the shipping is a bitch (you can use online stores, though).
7: I might add more stuff later.
8: I will send out addresses at <month>, <day>. We'll think of something.
9: How do you feel about getting NSFW gifts? Let me know if you think your parents will open them, or something (if you're not 18, for the love of God say so).
10: When you PM me, remember to include your name. Addressing a package to a Disc Grace or a Quid might cause some confusion.
11: Christmas gifts should arrive before Christmas ends. You've got to do things, proper, mmk?

I am quite large (read fatty) so pants is out, but shirts should be 2XL or better. I perfer small designs if anything, no loud colours. Jewel tones (sapphire, ruby, emerald, garnet, colours like that) are my favorites for anything clothes, paint, ge gaw and gimcrack.
I do period and foreign movies, scifi, and as my husband says crappy movies. I actually enjoyed Catwoman and own X-Men 3. Well okay I own most based on a comic book movies from the last 3 years. I read Anne McCaffery, Forgotten Realms, J.D. Robb and Kathy Reichs. Allways looking for a new good Author, recently read American Gods and loved it.
Rule of Thumb: As long as I haven't specifically requested it not be sent, anything that has had some thought put into it, well, suffice to say I will really like it.
Tastes;
Music; I lean towards indie. Modest Mouse, The Shins, Arcade Fire, The Decemberists etc. But don't hesitate to break genres if it's something you think is worthwhile.
TV; I'm still in the dark with regards to a lot of stuff going on. Of the series to debut in the past 5 or so years, I've watched Firefly, Scrubs, and Arrested Development. That's pretty much it. So most everything is fair game.
Games; I have a PC, DS, and soon will have a PSP(Final Fantasy Tactics with a new translation and updated graphics...maybe there really is a god?).
Clothing; 32x32 reg for pants, men's medium for shirts. No real preferences.
Books; I'm still working through a lot of the classics, so anything from present day aside from I guess Harry Potter is fair game. Please no (auto)biographies or self help books.

I just got a Nintendo Wii, and I am aching for some games. I own Wii Sports, Twilight Princess, and Super Paper Mario. I like to read a ton, political and fantasy stuff mostly, and any awesome shirts would be good.

its actually better if you go through a local site for DVD's, because lol region coding. Some of us have region-free players, but not all.

Aside from that, I'm a TV box set fanatic, especially for the crime shows, CSI and Law and Order and all their variants...I'm also partial to The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad. Nothing Futurama please, I hate it.
And I'm a PC gamer, primarily, and my music interests are pretty much nonexistent.
Music- Indy/rock like The New Pornographers, Voxtrot, The Fratellis, Deathcab for Cutie and the Killers
TV- I own the office and supernatural on dvd, that is it. I also have the Fullmetal alchemist movie. I don't watch a lot of t.v, I think it is out of laziness to find out when shows are on.
Games - I have a wii which has wii sports/play, mario part 8, resident evil 4 and super paper mario. I also have a DS which has so many games for it so don't bother. I also have a 360 which is broken at the moment, I have not gotten any games for it for awhile.
Movies - I like action/comedy, movies I have are like 300, Hot Fuzz, Shawn of the Dead, Children of Men etc etc
Clothing - I think a medium should be good for shirts, pants... 31 I think? Don't bother with pants.
Books - I haven't read anything lately so whatever you might think I would enjoy, I read ASoIaF, harry potter, redwall.
However I am looking forward to the unique personal gifts so go nuts

Games - I love games, but have a huge backlog. Don't buy me games. Except Dragon Warrior/Quest games after IV but before VIII (i.e. V, VI, and VII), which I'd really like to own, even if I never get around to playing them (in English, please; I own an SNES, a PS1, and a PS2). Also, an exception for good GBA games (I already own Sword of Mana, a Mega Man game, Final Fantasy I & II, and Final Fantasy III). If you have an extra DS sitting around because you bought a lite or something, I would be ecstatic to receive it (but certainly don't expect anything like that).
Books - I have all the resources of the Seattle Public Library system at my disposal, and I hate having to move/deal with books. Don't buy me books.
DVDs - I love DVDs, but haven't yet gotten around to watching the ones Hacksaw got for me last year. Don't buy me DVDs. Unless it's the collector's edition of Spider-Man 2 or 3. Those would be okay.
Other - Uhhhh... I'm about to own a Sprint Mogul...? I could actually use a really nice pillow (like, for my bed; queen, if you were wondering). I collect rare Spider-Man paraphernalia; "action figure" doesn't quite cut it; think more like "35mm film cels from actual prints of the first two films," or "promotional wall-hanging (woven) given only to movie theaters" (but not those actual things, since I own those). I actually really like board games and card games, too; my friends and I used to play Settlers of Catan back in Cali, along with stuff like Twilight Imperium, Runebound, and Arkham Horror (I have no idea how much any of them cost; if they're prohibitive, don't worry about it), and I tried and really enjoyed Illuminati. No CCGs, please (because I hate them), but I don't actually own any of the above games (or any, really; I think I've got, like, Risk, Clue, and Monopoly here at my parents' place, but never play them).
Honestly, I'll probably be pretty happy with whatever you get me; I realize I'm difficult to shop for, and accept that. I certainly love cool shit, though. :P
EDIT: Oh, and don't buy me Manga or Anime. I like some of it, but I'm ridiculously picky and eclectic about what, exactly, I like.
