Could we mayhaps update the OP with some general tips on sending packages to particular countries? I know Canada Customs is full of nancies and party poopers, for instance. Make sure you check off GIFT instead of MERCHANDISE and detail the contents and monetary value. Etc.

We could do some actual digging and find out the official rules for different customs offices. It will be a bit of work, but if it helps to get more people their gifts on time (or at all) it'll be worth it.

Yes! I'm in this year as well. I got such badass gifts last year; Phoenix Wright 2, Nintendo pins and a Hulk Grey book. The sad thing is I never got to know who my santa was :(
Also, I was the one who got to send SniperGuy delicious chocolate and christmas Beer last year and I plan to outdo myself this time around.

Well, signed up today. I had a ton of fun both giving and receiving last year. My Santa was really creative with their packaging and gifts, and even went beyond the call of duty and sent me an additional gift after finding out I already had one of the things they sent me. Come to think of it, I ought to send them a gift outright regardless of whether I get them or not. I may post pictures later, the packaging was really the icing on the cake.

I suppose I'll throw in a few things about myself for my future Santa.

I own a DS, a PSP, Wii, PS2, and an Xbox360 sometime in the future, as well as most of the consoles from the past. However (I hope this doesn't make me sound like a jerk or anything) I have a big enough backlog from games I have but haven't gotten around to playing and, what with all the good games coming out this year, that backlog will only increase.

I am a giant nerd, and like all sort of nerd things. You know, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, board games (I don't actually own many board games but I almost stole my friend's 360 for Settlers of Catan so I think they're worth mentioning). I like books a lot, in the form of humor, fantasy, sci-fi, fiction and nonfiction. I generally browse the discount sections in bookstores because I am a cheap bastard and also you'd be surprised what you can find (I found these two books together as one for five bucks.)

I like toys. Transformers, mechs (Not a huge mecha anime fan but I do enjoy giant robots), figures from video games and anime (More badass figures like this than scantly clad anime girls. Don't care much for those.) For instance, the top of my desk is adorned with a bunch of Transformers, Thrall, an Orc, and Malfurion from Warcraft 3, Yojimbo and Bahamut from Final Fantasy X, a stuffed duck, a plush chocobo and Vivi, Monev the Gale, a figure of Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, and some papercraft I made.

Get me whatever you want, though, if you think I'll like it. :D

Also, Silverwind, that was one swank looking gift package.

Now that I'm officially on the list, I"ll spill details.

    I'm a guy
    shirt size medium to large
I own 360,Wii,PS3,PSP,DS,PS2. I have tons of games and am now currently trying to work my way through the Halo Trillogy.

I've read every book put out by R.A. Salvatore. I'm a huge nerd and a geek to boot (there are subtle differences). I live in PA so I don't think alchohol can be shipped to me. I like most anime and am one of the few adult fans of cartoon networks Naruto. I have both HD DVD and Blu-Ray. But I pick up movies quite frequently. Basically, anything random that someone wants to send me is cool. If you happen to be overseas and they make crazy flavors of Ramen, that would be awesome. I'm a sucker for noodles.

I like to think that everybody is as nice as me, and pores through multiple pages of their santee's posts digging for information on likes and dislikes. But failing that, I am not at all picky.

I'll do this thing here since I'm on the list now, and because I'd hope whoever I get does the same.
    Systems:
    360
    PS3
    DS
    N64
    Wii
    PSP
    Really shitty computer! :)
Yeah, it's a sweet collection, but all things for are fairly expensive, so just know I don't expect any video games.
I'm a huge Halo/Guitar hero man, but I have all the games. lol.
I wear an XL or XXL size men's T shirt.
I Like anime, Sci-fi, Horror, movies, games, music. etc.
My music genre preferences are everything except country, and rap.

    Lets see lets see.

I don't know what the shipping laws concerning this are, but if you're not from the U.S. any particularly amazing foreign alcohols and a description would pretty much make an amazingly awesome gift.
Actually, if you're outside the States anything not found in the U.S. that's cool would make an awesome gift.

Otherwise, I'm hella tech-nerdy and would love any and all geek-chic or just generally nerdy cool computer type stuff.

My Santee is getting an "experience". I'm going to sneak in to their house and inject them with a SLOW acting poison, then leave them a note in the morning with a series of clues which will eventually lead them to the antidote. Along the way they'll solve puzzles and fight boss battles and come out after it all a better and more appreciative person.

    Or die.

No doujin manga? Geez, where's the fun in that. ;-)

Anyway, sent off the email so sign me up!

    Guy, T-shirt size XXL.

I enjoy video games, novels, comics, movies, music and so forth. Video games are expensive (and would probably necessitate some skullduggery on my part to get around region locks), so just go for whatever you think'll go over well (or alternately, generate lols). Just in case you actually want to buy me one, in the interests of full disclosure:

Systems: DS, Xbox (AUS), 360 (2x, JPN+AUS), PS2 (JPN), PC (Macbook Pro)
Games I own: Halo series, DOA/DOAX series, The [email protected], Gears of War, FFXII, Ryu ga Gotoku (Yakuza), Kimikiss, The Orange Box (PC), Melty Blood Act Catenza Ver. B (PC), others that I can't remember right now.

Foreign alcohol/chocolate/food and particularly rad t-shirts would be nice, but go with whatever you feel like sending. :)
